Health adjustments to the everyday life!
Alrighty, this came to mind since I thought about the resistance bands. For me personally making vast changes in little time makes me not want to stick with it. I am a creature of habit like most, and sure as hell don't like change!
So, I just went into the literal thought of what Michele McDaniel and Honey Bison say. Make the small changes in your life!
So, what I did was change out the ultra processed foods that I would snack on for healthier options like fruit or veggies. Substitute condiments like ranch for Greek yogurt with ranch dip seasoning(honey bison be suggesting this! gg), spicy mustard, making my own mayo with better oil (Avocado oil), and started using a food scale.
In the beginning of getting into exercising I motivated myself for walking by imagining myself and honey walking around a Victorian garden, and parking farther and farther from the store. Which this has helped me increase my steps dramatically than what it used to be!
Also, taking the break when you need to, because it did not take a day for all the weight that I have on my body to be there. So, it is going to take time for your body to lose it, and taking measurements matters! Because the weight on the scale will stagnant!
Tracking down what you eat! I have used My Fitness Pal to assist in telling me how many calories I consume a day, and yes it can be triggering but health matters more than being triggered. Because at the end of the day it is just a tool to help assist in helping make better food choices. I am talking whole foods versus ultra processed foods.
Just some tips that I have followed and have now made a habit. Yes, I do have bad days, but that should not stop you from living a healthy life!
Because I love the fact that now I don't get winded as easily as I used to, and that I'm building strength to help me with feeling almost pain free!
I hope everyone luck on their health, and even baby steps is actual steps towards better habits! Looking at you Fat Acceptance, Fat Activist, and those gordos/gordas who took over body positivity!
