Caryl in season 10
First of all a big thank you to all the Carylers out there! I love seeing my dash full of life and Caryl love. All the new fanart,gifs,meta and fanfiction make me sooo happy.
Just a thought I had when I saw a lot of speculation about WHEN Caryl will go canon:
Personally I think it will be pretty fast.I don't think there will be a need to rebuild their connection any more in S10. For us Carylers the connection was unbroken all along. We saw all the nuances.
For the GA a few things did the trick in S9 and especially the last two episodes of S9:
1) Need a ride,stranger? 2) the haircut and the fine lady smiling fondly at the roughcut dirty man without manners 3) the morning in the woods: it had a glaringly obvious tone of the morning after sex
For the not-so-attentive GA:
1) Zeke telling Daryl to back off his woman and
2)the breakup.
EVERYONE understands NOW what Carol is to Daryl and vice versa.
Zeke and Henry were only tools to set up Caryl and to make it clear that Daryl is Carol's priority and free choice.
There will be a little timejump in S10 to put Carol in a better emotional place and then the writers will go at it.
By the way: Daryl observed the first kiss between Henry and Lydia.....I keep thinking what was going on in his head at the time.....could be a parallel later on for Carol and Daryl:
Carol: "Why are you doing all this for me? I want to know the real reason"
Daryl: " Because you mean something to me"
