When I saw this, I was like, we have the same brain. Lol.

So, some time ago, I got a little creative and wrote a fanfic short inpired by this very moment.

It's the MTV Movie & Television Awards 2025. Nic is there sitted with other cast members as Bridgerton is nominated for Best Show, and Nicola & Luke are nominated for Best Kiss. The Best Kiss category is presented by non other than Ryan Gosling previous winner of this category. The camera focuses on Nicola, who has a giddy smile on her face and looks nervous. Ryan presents the nominees, and the winner is: Luke & Nicola for Bridgerton. Nicola heads to the stage, all smiles and surprised. She received the award and gave Ryan a hug, nervously comes to the microphone, and says. "Omg, this can't be happening right now" looking to Ryan with a blush. Ryan laughs, and she laughs, "ok. Let me focus. Thank you, everyone. I know it's sort of a tradition to do a demonstration for this award, but Luke is not here today." Ryan interrupts and says into the microphone. "I can be your Colin for tonight." The audience starts screaming, and Nicola is in shock. All of a sudden the screen in the background lights up and in view Luke Newton is on live video streaming, and says fuming "no, no, no I'm the only Colin for her and I'm also her Ken." The audience goes crazy. Ryan answers by saying "but your not here, don't worry, I'm a professional." Ryan closes the gap between him and Nic and starts to lift his hand to grab on to Nic's face. Then you here a shattered glass sound and on the screen a visual of a shattered screen and an opening where Luke jumps of the screen, Luke starts furiously walking towards them pushes Ryan away and takes his hand to Nic's face, they look into each others eyes with that longing and love characterized by them, lost in each other, seeming to forget everyone around them and then they kiss. That same passionate and sweet kiss they showed on screen was live for everyone to witness. It brought everyone to cheer with excitement. At the sound of the crowds, they snapped out of the bubble and looked at each other laughing, then they both looked at the audience and turned, gave a smile in appreciation to Ryan. Everyone clapped at the performance, Ryan, Nicola, and Luke vowed in acceptance of the praises.

Luke grabbed Nicola by the hand and walked over to the microphone. "Thank you to the fans and everyone who worked so hard on this show, but most of all I'm thankful for this woman," looking now at Nic, "she is brilliant and nothing will be possible without her. She is everything to me,  she is not only my favorite co-star but my best friend, my right hand, my partner, and my beautiful wife, I love you baby." Everyone gasped at this last words. Nicola closes in and said "thank you husband, I couldn't have done it without you neither, I love you baby." And they kissed. The crowd went ecstatic. And on that day Lukola hard launched.

Sometimes I randomly remember the first word Rhysand said to Feyre and my heart turns into this puddle of awe and affection and love and I have to gather myslef to function effectively again.
