Why in celebrating Pride Month, everyone recognizes the LGB part, but never the T.
I love that everyday snapchat has been putting out geotags with LOVEWINS or phrases similar to that, but only once have I seen the trans flag. While yes, in the LGBTQ+ community, love has won, but that is not the soul meaning of the queer community. Being queer is not just about love, but it's about being different from what's "normal". I want the nonbinary folx to be recognized, the trans people who don't pass/don't want to pass, the small children who are questioning their sexuality, because it's not just that gay marriage is now legal in many countries, but it's about being accepted as ourselves. It's about not being afraid anymore. It's about loving ourselves. I want recognition of this panromantic asexual demiboy. Because I'm not normal, I'm different and I'm proud of that. That's what pride is, not that #LoveWins. But #ILoveMyQueerSelf
