My homeroom class wanted to do something to help kids who were affected by Hurricane Harvey, so we’ve been getting ready for our #HeartofaTiger project, where we are collecting money to send to a middle school in Houston. The plan was to get students to start collecting money next week…but as my homeroom started filing out at the end of the period, a few of them pulled out some money to donate and handed it to me without me asking. Back to work! The table is set up to tell people about the #AliveClub (our school’s #Christian club) at registration.
