Human Kindness
Yes, I'm actually that amazed by this I'm going to make a post about it.
Just a couple minutes ago, my husband got a call from someone at the clinic where he works that a box had appeared on the back step with his name on it. So, we got ready and left to see what it was. When we got home, he opened it to reveal a Christmas Feast:
a Ham, creamed corn, peas, green beans, yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing, chicken broth, mashed potatoes (enough to apparently have 20 servings of) and a pumpkin pie.
And we weren't the only ones to get such a box. And it just makes me wonder... who did this? They must have paid a fortune. But even more than that, they must be very kind. And for that, I'm grateful. Because even though none of this food will last until Christmas Day (We'll probably eat it later this week) the thought of getting so much food is a blessing.
