Finally decided its time to tally up this summer’s harvest, and looking forward to trying to beat it next year!
Courgette - 1.860 kg Runner Beans - 1.489 kg Potatoes - 5.94 kg Carrots - 572 g Tomato - 1.171 kg Pickled onions - 54 g Beetroot - 107g
Total - 11.193 kg
Learned lots of things this summer, they definitely weren’t lying about the size of a courgette plant, make sure I leave lots of room for french beans, and to just man up and really thin out carrots and beetroot early on!
Next year I’m hoping to get better results after spreading my compost heap around for the first time. Pretty silly to try and grow vegetables after 3 years of taking nutrients out of the soil without replacing them! But now its time to focus on the winter garden :)
