$15 PASTA SPECIALS Mon-Wed 🍄🍝 // Pasta of the night: TAGLIATELLE CON FUNGHI. Swiss brown and porcini mushroom sauce topped with Grana Padano and fresh herbs; aud15 (Mon-Wed) or aud22 on other days from Il Pasto Italian Trattoria, Inglewood. Menu on @perthfoodmenu Tucked in a corner beside the main Beaufort Street, I arrived to find a cute cosy restaurant buzzing with people. My expectations were instantly raised seeing as most of the clientele were Caucasians. Logic being you just don’t go into a Chinese restaurant with no Chinese in sight. Service was good but due to the volume of people, the pasta took around 40 min to arrive. We ordered all six of the $15 pasta specials to share. When the pasta dishes did come, I was really surprised to taste that the pasta was not hand-made. This was a disappointment and we checked with our server just to be sure. Yep, confirmation was the pasta wasn’t hand-made. Sure, it’s good value at $15 but just don’t expect hand-made pasta or you would be in for a rude awakening. Positives: Cheap, Pasta cooked just right and this mushroom sauce was tasty.
