Amycus Carrow.
Honestly I could wax lyrical at you for h o u r s about how much I adore Am, but I’ll try and keep this short. Ultimately, Amycus is a bad person – way deep down inside, what little good there is is what I’ve termed “selfish goodness”: that is to say, he isn’t a good person, but to people he loves, people he’s close to, he is a very good, very loyal, very decent human being. He’s (over)protective, he’s caring, he’s loving – he loves so much, but there are only a very, very small amount of people he’s ever loved. (For IL!Am that’s Alecto, Lucius, Rabastan and Regulus (and later the kids shut up Reg lives); for TM!Am that’s Alecto (eVEN THOUGH THEY HATE EACH OTHER *cries for a million years*) and Vespera.)
But he’s also very, very flawed – maybe due to his upbringing and home environment, maybe just due to his nature, but either way he is fundamentally a bad person. He enjoys hurting people, he enjoys killing people. And he knows that’s wrong, he does, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t crave it. It doesn’t mean he’s strong enough to resist the urge to lash out, to hurt someone.
One of the few things we know about Amycus from canon is that he’s a coward. And I love that aspect of him – I love how he’s so strong and yet so weak, so focused on himself and the few close to him and no one else, so damaged and repressed and unable to cope with that. He’s not strong; he’s reckless, he’ll fucking fight you, he’s determined and cock-sure enough that the flight reflex will never win out; but put him in a situation he can’t fight his way out of? He’ll fold. He’ll do anything to get out, and he hates that, he hates that he’ll never, ever be brave, but he’s come to terms with it. He’s accepted it.
I’ll end this here, because it’s already way longer than I intended, but honestly Amycus is my fave character of all time ever and I’ll word vomit at you forever if you let me

Honestly I am trash for @pomonawrites, @thabutlerdidit and Godot’s Frank/Alice/Moody ot3. It’s so beautiful and it hasn’t even happened yet and I need it and I cry a little (metaphorically, of course, since I am a cold-hearted bitch) every time it gets brought up in the Skype chat because I just love it so much okay
Legit though just everything that goes on at @tempora-mutantur-rp is perfection and deserves your undivided attention at all times

But that’s kinda a cop out so I’ll describe another one for you too anon. I really really want a blood oath plot tbh – give me fantasy, give me an unstable kingdom on the verge of war, a cold-hearted bitch of a Crown Prince and his general who hate each other forced to work together (bonus points if the general’s also assigned as his bodyguard bc there’s a rival kingdom trying to assassinate the royal bloodline) and hating every single second of it and there’s so much sexual tension the whole time but at the same time they cannot stand each other but then by the end the general pLEDGES HIS LIFE TO THE PRINCE and I just I am w e a k for this okay (spoiler alert I might have just described the premise for a Carblack fic I’m working on but shhh)
