And now, an excerpt from the long anticipated new chapter in the “50 Shades” saga…
50 Shades Beiger
Ana stood in the kitchen, scraping chicken nuggets crudely shaped like dinosaurs into the sink. They were barely touched, except for the heads. Those had all been bitten off and spat on the floor.
Christian watched for a while from the table, his gaze following a tendril of her hair as it teased lazily down her neck. He approached, and began to trace it with his finger.
“The children are asleep…why don’t we have a bit of fun.” he said. It was more of an order than a question.
She sighed, “Life is different now, Chris. We’re just not in that place any more.”
“That’s why we adapt, Anastasia,” he said with a coy smile.
“Fine,” she said as she sorted out the nuggets with the least child saliva and shoved them in her mouth. It was as if she had been starving for them her entire life.
“First…we take a shower together. A frantic, lukewarm shower that only lasts about three minutes. About halfway through, I will get out and pound on the door, screaming about how I need you to find the remote so I can watch Paw Patrol.”
“Go on…”
“Then, I’m going to grind one of these legos into the bottom of your foot until you can’t bear it any longer,” he said, gesturing to the piles of Legos that gathered like bright plastic tumble weeds across the room.
Her eyes danced with excitement.
“Finally,” he paused, his lips parting slightly so she could hear his breath, “Once you’re dressed, I’m going to dump this cup of coffee all over you.”
She gasped. “No…it’s too much,” she whispered, “ I’ll get burned.”
“You won’t,” he smiled knowingly, “It’s been sitting here since yesterday.”
He continued on, kissing her neck as he spoke,
“It’s ice cold. The coffee is always. ice. cold.”
Ana was breathing heavily now. He turned her head to kiss her lips, but she had fallen asleep standing up.
The end.
