I haven't been able to read fantasy in months... I started this one and was shocked to see I couldn't put it down! This is easily one of my favorite reads so far this year. This story had everything I love: adventure, quirky banter, and a slow-burn relationship that I was 100% on board with! I truly loved everything about this story, and Elise's writing style was such an added bonus. There isn't a single thing I would change about this story. Though this cover is what first caught my eye, the story is just as gorgeous. "Cinderella meets The Cruel Prince" is the perfect way to describe this story. If you're at all intrigued by my review (albeit vague, totally on purpose), please do yourself a favor and read this one! This is book 2 in the Married to Magic series, but all books in the series can be read as standalones. You can find the purchase link in my bio!
