The Rift Born P.3

The Rift Born caused problems to more than just the inhabitants of the Maelstrom Galaxy.

Izlumina was once a beautiful planet covered in beautiful flora and teeming with life. The intellectual inhabitants too, were equally as beautiful.

Then one day the corrupted Order beast found it’s way on to the planet in its need to escape the Chaos beast. 

In its rush it created a portal so massive it sucked the entire planet of Izlumina straight from another universe altogether, into the Maelstrom Galaxy.

During the event, the world was in chaos. Massive floods and earthquakes, volcanic eruptions. Nearly the entire world was drowned by the ocean while the rest was engulfed by flames or swallowed into the planet.

The beautiful structures of the original race was destroyed, the entire race wiped out by floods, ash debris and lava, or even swallowed into the earth.

For many years to come after this the planet froze over. Any life left from the previous universe must rapidly evolve in order to adapt to the new conditions.

Prugorem

Scientific Name: Homo Nivosus (Snowy)

Description: They hail from the planet Dveitrist, but are a further mutation of the crystalline. They have adapted to the extreme cold of the planet.

Height: 8′5 to 9′

Physical Description: They are smaller and more agile than the gorrotas but bigger and more brash than the crystalline.

Their skin can be various shades of blue mixed in with some purples. Instead of rocks or gem crystals, they now have ice-like crystals protruding from their skins. 

Their hair is a pure white.

Their sclera is a dark purple and their iris and pupil are a light blue color.

Vampiera Mortis

Name: Homo Misellus (Wretched)

Description: This new race is a unique mutation to the Mortis. They only occur in those that happen to be immune. The chances of it happening are rarer than the chances someone is immune.

The virus adapted to the immune in a very unexpected way. Instead of gaining control and destroying its host, it merged with them. 

The upside would be their enhanced abilities like strength and agility. The downside would be their insatiable thirst for blood.

Vampiera Mortis have a quirk where they have to count. IE; someone drops a bag of marbles in front of those infected with the Vampiera Mortis will cause them to feel the need to count every single marble. Depending how many objects it contained, it can take a while. It is however very hard to make them lose count.

Height: idfk

Physical Description: Their skin pales considerably. Their eyes become a dull glowy red. 

Their eye lids, nose, cheeks and ears become redder, and their pupil becomes invisible. 

Their teeth becomes sharp enough to pierce the skin. 

Black veins appear over their bodies, most prominently around their hands and feet. small black dots follow along this veins.

Their blood, albeit still red has become so dark it can be confused for black.

They have faint smell of iron and blood to them.

Planet: Dremortis

Colors associated with them: Blacks and reds

Classes: Those effected by the Vampiera Mortis have the choice to embrace the new classes under the VM, or to stick completely to their old one. A special class of the VM is the Blood Mage.

Races that are immune to Vampiera Mortis, but not necessarily immune to the Mortis: Aesquamis, Gorrotas, Crystalline, Prugorems, Alacantus

This race is only obtainable very rarely, and only if the person is immune.

Some things to note about Vampiera Mortis -It can be contracted through the bite of someone infected with the Mortis -It can NOT be contracted through the bite of someone infected with Vampiera Mortis -It can however be contracted through contact, most particularly consumption of the blood of someone infected with Vampiera Mortis.

Krayn

Krayn named after a famous scientist, is a rogue planet in a thinly populated solar system with only 8 other planets. Krayn is about 38.9 times bigger than Earth.

The planet is made up of 3 continents, which make up 64% of the planet's landmass. 5 moons orbit the planet and Krayn itself orbits a yellow sun in an almost perfectly circular orbit.

Although extremely violent, this planet holds many resources which could be of the utmost importance to some species. With the right technology, battling the elements on this planet shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

Gorgons

The Gorgons are a race of alien that got their names from the Gorgons of Greek Mythology. They are a race of magical, shape shifting genderless seducers. They are highly aggressive, and very hard to kill. They were once the inhabitants of Krayn but has long since begun to travel through the Universe.

It is speculated that some of the more aggressive Gorgons have stayed upon the planet.

They can take any form they wish and assume a male or female form when they wish to reproduce. This form is a human-like figure, that has snakes for hair and reptilian eyes and tongue.

They are master seducers, and can do so with just a look from their eyes and enchanted words from their lips.

If they choose to breed with someone outside their race, they will normally turn in to a female seductress and be impregnated by the man.

After of which, they will consume the male. If they do choose to impregnate a woman, the offspring born from her will then feed on her a few weeks after birth and also consume any housemates she may have.

They also enjoy seducing other species just for the fun of it and travel in packs. Some will travel with SPACE pirates, and seduce and consume the crew of any of the pirates victims.

Fortunately for the SPACE pirates, that means they can get laid regularly without worried up being consumed by the Gorgon. At least not until they are bored of them, or the pirates have yet to find their next victims.

Other beings with magical properties; such as the Irratas, and the Crystalline are immune to being seduced by the Gorgons. Others, like the Common Gorrotas, or the Braeus' are susceptible to their whims.

Ilums

Ilums is a solar system with about 9 planets in total orbiting it. It is classified as a K Star. There are only 3 known inhabited planets the rest are either uninhabitable or unexplored.

Cliolio is the 3rd planet from Ilums, while Dremortis is the 5th. Izlumina is the furthest planet from Ilums.
