I just saw the shipwreck gif. Yep that was me. Honestly that whole moment and the morning after felt like a masterful manipulation on her part. She did that every time she's sent him off to do her bidding. With his devotion to Cersei and his enabling of her tyranny I don't feel like he deserves Brienne's loyalty or affection. But true love is never about deserving :( I'm clinging to book!Jaime to heal my shattered Braime heart.
Hey there dear,I felt very disappointed as a shipper as well after that episode but then I reminded myself that when Jaime sees Brienne he becomes a different person. It’s like he transforms himself to be this honorable man she believes him to be and our fandom honestly has survived worse than this! We’ve been dealing with Jaime sleeping with his sister for almost three seasons now, if I’m not mistaken, one episode won’t be the end of us.I am hopeful and I try to stay optimistic!!
