did she ? did the queen know what it was like to stand && watch as her intended ordered for her father’s head to be sliced off like it was nothing . did the queen know what it was like to be sworn mercy && given destruction instead ? a young girl had now became a hardened woman . yesterday , sansa stark sang songs of romance && heroic knights , today ; the world had lost its melody && lyrics blurred into nothing . sansa was numb , she had cried too long . the image of her father’s head on a spike appeared every time she closed her eyes , no thanks to joffrey’s twisted games . eyes were red , body almost limp , it seemed as if it had given up . she wanted to go home . robb was her only hope now , his rebellion would free her . it had to . but , until then , she had to play her role , && she had to play it wisely , or soon enough , joffrey would order her head to stand between her father’s and septa mordane’s . ❝ i cannot deny my grief , he was my father . ❞ she replies , effort going into straighten her posture && to look at her queen with a strained smiled . ❝ but , father or not , he was a traitor to the crown , to my beloved joffrey . his grace had every right to do as he saw fit , he couldn’t have any traitors threaten his reign . ❞ && she swallowed , throat burning from holding back tears . gods , forgive me , she thinks . the venomous lies that just left her lips would be her only shot at survival .
