#45 “What do you want to watch?” with nayeon

just got off work, be there soon xx

her text makes your lips curve in a smile as you pour popcorn in a bowl. walking over to the coffee table. you observe to make sure everything is set. there’s the bowl of popcorn, nayeon’s favorite candy (and a couple of your own), two glasses with a cooler full of ice and a bottle of both your favorite wine.

“i’m sorry. i know, i know i’m late but there was a lot of traffic and-“ your squeal interrupts her as she closes the door, soon you’re wrapping your arms around her neck, relaxing when she wraps her own around your waist. “hi baby”

“i missed you so much” you press multiple short kisses around her face. she takes it in, she knows it’s only been a couple of hours since she saw you last, but she can’t help missing you too.

“i missed you too” nayeon giggles, holding your face still to finally press a kiss on your lips. “wasn’t sure what you were feeling tonight so i got both” she holds up two paper bags with food from two of your favorite places, you squeal even louder this time and press a second kiss to her lips before pulling her with you to the sofa.

she gets comfortable, throwing a blanket over the two of you as you pour the white wine in both glasses, passing one to her. your girlfriend opens her arms for you next, letting you lay on her chest, looking through one of the bags of takeout.

“really?” your eyes light up when you see your most recent craving in the bag, and you wait for her to finish her sip of wine before you kiss her cheek, her free hand holding your chin so she could peck her lips right after.

“okay, so” your smile is bright enough to spread to her face. “what do you wanna watch?” nayeon pretends to think and gently takes the control, switching through a couple of shows until she found the one she wanted.

#21 “You might like this.” with roommate!yeji :)

“what you get?” yeji places her bowl of cereal on the table and walks over to you in an attempt of helping you with the packages

“amazon packages, clothes, our doordash and-“ you pause, handing her the biggest box “mommy care package”

“oh em gee” your friend gasps, smiling and taking the box from you as the two of you skip to the couch.

“your mom is so cute, i can’t believe she sends you a care package every month” you awe, peeking over her shoulder as curiosity fills the two of you to the brim.

“i know” she smiles, taking her time to read one of the many notes, as her mom liked to write a small one for everything she sent. “i miss her”

“yeji!” you pout, mimicking her. “she misses you too, that’s why she does these, to help your ‘homesickness’” yeji’s eyes water as you rub her arm, but she nods. she’s unable to hide her excitement as she shows you the first few things. sunscreen, stationary for yeji, some jeju typical snacks,

“oh! you might like this” she hands you a brown paper bag after looking at it briefly, apparently already knowing what was inside.

it’s common her mother sends something for you too, but she never says what, only yeji and her know before the package arrives.

‘yeji mentioned you like to crochet, these colors reminded me of you darling, maybe you can make a scarf for me someday’ next to it, a smiley face, as she signs off and finishes the note saying she hopes you are well. inside laid three new colors for you to crochet, and (failed to mention in the note, a brand new set of tools for your hobby.

“you told your mom i like to crochet!!” you pout “you two are so cute, i’m gonna cry”

“yeah yeah, you better call to thank her later, brat” yeji turns to you, interrupting her read of the prologue from the book her mom had sent this month. “and you better make me something cute with those”

#87. “I saved you a seat.” with pianist!jisoo :)

jisoo: omw!!

the bouquet of jisoo’s favorite flower, lillies of the valley, rests behind your back, not wanting her to see them until the concert was done. you take advantage of the little bit of time left before the concert starts, and think about rushing your hello’s.. not so much that she will think weirdly of it, but enough to avoid her touching the flowers when going to hug you.

“hi!!!” she’s glowing, both from nerves and excitement, even pride. her first solo concert in one of seoul’s most important venues, and you’re there to support her. she looks beautiful, by the way, the navy blue dress which sleeves go just a bit past her elbows and the skirt stops just after her knees. her hair is parted by the middle and lays on her shoulders in big, flowing waves.

“hi angel” you peck her lips multiple times, your thumb caressing her cheek while you took her in, her lips are covered with a blush colored stain, her eyes lightly highlighted in all the right places. “are you excited?”

“i am! i’m so glad you could make it too” she holds on to your hand, biting her bottom lip nervously. “i saved you a seat” she murmurs, rocking your hands together like an excited child.

“really? can you walk me to it?” jisoo nods and smiles widely, gently tugging on your hand to lead you there. “im so excited to watch you play, you’re going to be amazing, as always honey”

she excitedly starts to tell you she specifically asked for the best chair in the whole audience, that you wouldn’t be alone because the girls and her parents would be in the same row and all about the important musicians that were coming to see her on her big day.

97) “I’ll pick you up at the airport.” with rosé

“i can’t believe you’re finally coming home tomorrow” she’s excited, nervous even just thinking about being able to have you in her arms again already.

“mhm” you agree “i’ve just been waiting so long”

"i know" she nods, smiling at you softly through the camera "there's this new spot like five minutes from here i wanted to take you to"

"food?" your girlfriend can't help the giggle that comes out watching you perk up at the thought of food

"yes baby"

“i miss you” you add

“me too baby” the blonde sighs into the phone “but i’ll see you soon right? I’ll pick you up at the airport.”

"yess" you plop back on your bed "i'm excited"

"so am i" rosé responds "go to bed, get some rest before the flight, yeah?"

"okay"

"goodnight" and your girlfriend blows one last kiss at you before hanging up

28) “Drive safely.” with jihyo :)

everyone else leaves rather early, and that provides you of a little more quality time with each other, time that even though was very common for the two of you, you were always thankful for when it happened.

yet no matter how many extra minutes you spend snuggled up on her bed, both of you are sad when you have to go, you wanted to stay, and so did she. but you just had a very important day tomorrow at work, and she knew it was best you slept in your own bed. she'd still call you a few minutes after your alarm to make sure you're awake. but it still saddens her that she won't exactly help you get ready in your work clothes or make breakfast for you like other times.

you know you should get going, but your arms around each other's waist feel so nice, her breath feels warm against yours and her lips feel so nice when clashing with your own in a rather soft matter than earlier. you really don't want to go.

"baby" she starts, attempting to speak but it's being proved impossible by the way your lips never leave hers. "babe"

"y/n-“ sadly, she now uses her hands to separate your face from hers “baby. it’s getting late”

“i don’t wanna go” you groan, hugging her tighter. “one more”

your girlfriend rolls her eyes, playfully of course, and ends up kissing you anyway. this time, she’s the one that brings you in for another one, this time deeper and longer than the previous ones.

“mm” jihyo shakes her head when you dip in for more.

“let’s go.” her hand finds yours quickly, tangling each other as she walks you to your car

“keep telling me what to do. i like it” your girlfriend laughs, loudly enough that neighbors might’ve heard, but they all know it’s just the two of you. so they’d never mind, and she pushes you softly, attempting to detangle your hands if it weren’t for you stopping it.

"you'll text me when you get home?" she confirms as you hum and get in your car, quickly rolling down the window so you could close the door and still talk to her. jihyo, however, just leans over through the opening to talk to you again

“i will” you nod. “do i really have to go?”

“baby” but jihyo doesn’t have to go so far, because you’re already nodding and whispering a string of ‘i knows’ “okay. drive safely” her hand caresses your cheek one last time and she presses one last peck before pulling away from the car.

17) “Watch your step.” w nayeon :)

“you know who i miss? kookeu. i miss cuddling with your dog nay”

“im sure he misses you too y/n” she has to keep herself from bursting into laughter, knowing you completely forgot about waking up with said dog on your side this morning. she wonders how long has it been in your head since you saw him last “good thing we’re going home tho right? you can see kookeu all you want”

“oh my god really?“

“yeah! look, we’re here” she likes this part of drunk you the best, instead of the one that starts picking fights with everything in their way, because this y/n is inoffensive, kind to inanimate objects, and is always willing to eat up and drink some aspirin before bed.

“wait you brought me home? how many dates have we even been on?“ your girlfriend snorts as she holds the uber’s door for you, holding your hand to help you find some balance even when the world’s been spinning for you.

“quite a few i’d say..” nayeon thanks the driver and waits for him to drive off before going into the building, slower than usual as she now carries with you glued to her arm. “don’t worry—watch your step— we can sleep in separate rooms if you want”

“mmm, i’ll think about it” is what you say after pretending to think for half a second. “you’re really pretty”

you can’t see a lot of things while drunk, but you can see the way she blushes and tries to brush it off after, mainly because you’re going to fall this time as you trip over the slit between the elevator and the lobby’s floor. “watch your step babe-“

“baaaabe? i like that” you chuckle, letting her lay you against the wall as you wait for the elevator doors to close.

“hey- what do you want to eat after we shower? there’s leftovers from earlier but i can make you something quick if you want” she tries to hold a normal conversation with you even drunk off your ass

“oh! oh! did i eat that burrito earlier? i want a burrito” she giggles at the way you pout thinking of burritos ceasing to ever exist.

“no baby, the burrito is still there.”

“yay! and what do you mean by ‘after we shower’?”

“shhh. we’re here” just in time, the elevator rings open and she once again grabs hold of your body. “watch your step baby, be careful.”

if you weren’t so drunk, she would probably tell you to take a shot every time after she told you to watch your step. considering she had to say it minimum three more times before bed..

39) “Don’t cry.” with sana :)

your girlfriend listens as you rant on about everything that was upsetting you. but her heart breaks a little more when your eyes start filling up with tears "don't cry" she gasps, pulling you in but quickly after pushing you back away when she comes to a realization "actually, i take that back"

"if you want to cry, do it" sana nods confidently. "yeah if you want to cry, do it, i'll be here for you either way"

that makes you giggle, and it makes her bring you back in to her chest for a hug she hoped was comforting. sana then runs her hands through your hair and kisses the top of your head as you cry it out on her chest.

“i’m sorry for complaining so much-“

“no” she begins “you’re allowed to be upset baby.”

"and i'm sorry all that happened to you" she whispers against your hair "i love you, and i'm always going to be here for you even if im usually not the best at giving advice”

10) “I’m sorry for your loss.” with jihyo

when jihyo brought cactus to the table, the song didn’t really have a name. so everyone in the group immediately assumed it was about a person, or something she had gone through with or because of someone else. everyone felt their chest tighten a little more each time she sang it for you all.

so when she reveals it’s about nothing of the sort, but about a cactus she let go of, all of your members started laughing. it's funnier when jihyo doesn't have an answer for them when they ask further questions, all she can do is laugh with them. but it's a really good song, it makes all of your skin pebble and it reminds you how talented your girlfriend is.

the two of you talk about it on the couch, after a long day of work while everyone rests in their room. it’s one of those moments, a nice, comfortable silence until you brought it up again.

“well. im sorry for your loss” you pout, hugging jihyo from the side and letting her rest her head on your shoulder.

“she let her CACTUS die for god’s sake” nayeon yells from her room.
