Ilych is the northernmost nation on the eastern continent of Eslaria. In the southwest is Castor, and in the southeast is Orones, whom Ilych has had a history of conflict with. Three major rivers run through Ilych - Dugyarli, Lozano, and Olaroz, all of which drain into the ocean.
The Ilychar flag has three vertical stripes, two green and one white down the middle. In the very center is a shining yellow sun, with rays stretching across the banner. The green represents the fertile lands of Ilych, and the white represents the “pure hearts of the Ilychar people”. The sun shines upon both.
Ilych’s location in the north causes the nation to have cool to cold temperatures most of the year. Glaciers can be found on the northern coast, and parts of the sea freeze over in the coldest times of winter, making maritime trade difficult. Winter sports like sledding and ice hockey are very popular.
Ilych is known for its lively street performers that perform elaborate, traditional dance sequences. Women in crowns and long dresses swirl about as men do kicks and flips. Gymnastic and acrobatic shows are also common, especially in summer months.
