I know you didn't rb the thingy but I must let you know that to me your specialization would always be the touches of intertextuality and the literary references you throw in to your characters and world making? I love how you draw so much literary inspiration that forms everything from the name of your characters and the ambience of your stories and ALSO enliven it with your own touch? Its so lovely and it brings so much magic into things like im lost in all my favourite storybooks at the same time ❤️

Thanks for getting me very emotional! I throw the literary references in there to give myself a laugh. But seriously, they're also a nod to the "places" I've passed through on my journey as a writer. It really makes me happy to know that you appreciate them and see them as something that enhances my fics.

like I'm lost in all my favourite storybooks - getting people lost in my worlds/characters is pretty much at the top of my personal agenda. So mwahahahaha it worked those words mean so much to me. More than I can express 😭 Thank you so much for saying these things.

Oooh Jess, I need to ask about ‘Rex’! That name is like a dog whistle for me haha x

Hi Sam!! 💖🌱 Ahh I started this in March 21, wrote a bit and then abandoned it 😔 but it was following a mechanic who literally runs into Rex in the hanger, they have an embarrassing moment (she gets grease all over his armor and scrubs it off him with her shirt and he’s like ???) - and then they run into each other a couple more times.

And he thinks she’s a bit ridiculous but for some reason he can’t stop thinking about her 💕

A little bit from their second meeting:

“I saw her yesterday, in the hanger.” Rex mutters, tone untrusting.

“She works here.” Fives adds, raising an eyebrow, “Of course you saw her.”

“She ran over my karking foot.”

But I love Rex and would love to give this (or a new fic) another shot in the future! Thank you so much my friend. 💖
