A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms AU Fanfic Idea/Moodboard Pt 3
FUCK YEAH LABYRINTH AU EXCEPT THERE'S TWO GOBLIN KINGS... listen... why make choices when you can have both. (Can be adapted to one if you like lol! I just like sharing ideas)
Idea one: Dunk has only been nannying for Maekar for a few weeks, and while his children are odd, they have never been more than what Dunk can handle.... Well, that was the case until Aerion and Aegon wished for the other to be taken by a goblin king and now Dunk has to deal with retrieving the boys before the next morning or else they will keep the children and Dunk will be left to face the wrath of Maekar. Fortunately for Dunk, he is too green to fall into hedonism with the Stag and a bit too dumb to under poetic promises of the Dragon. Dunk just hopes Daeron is able to watch his sisters while Dunk is away... or at the very least is wise enough not to give them booze.
Idea Two: Egg has always craved adventure, whether it be in real life, in the stories he's read from his uncles library, or even the stories from the man himself. Tales involving knights, kings, goblins, fae, gods and the like going on perilous journeys to save a maiden or to fight for their honor. So when traveling with his family as they head to a tournament, Egg hears word from the towns folk telling them to "Avoid the woods or else the goblin lords will get you", and he decides to brave the woods himself! After all, anything is better than dealing with Daerons drunken rambling or his fathers strict eye or Aerions existence. Unfortunately for Egg, he walks straight into the hands of the goblin lords, hopefully he can play them against each other before they decide what to do to him.
Dunk has been in town for the past few days, hired as some extra man power as the village prepped for the arrival of the royal family. Moving tables, cutting wood, and just general extra protection was all he was hired to do.... Following an escaped Prince was not part of the deal, nor was trying to save him from the magical disaster they found themselves in. It is days like these that Dunk really wishes he wasn't raised to have honor.
