Our Unwritten Seoul
TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2025
Our Unwritten Seoul (2025, South Korea)
Director: Park Shin Woo
Writer: Lee Kang
Mini-review:
For some reason, despite the impressive cast and creative team, I didn't expect this drama to be so f**king good. It has so much important stuff to say about modern life in Korea, especially when it comes to women. And it does so while striking the perfect balance between drama and comedy, between lighthearted and heavy topics, resulting in a story that's nothing short of life-affirming. The entire cast is exceptional, but special kudos must be given to Park Bo Young for pulling off such a complex dual role. Also, as for the visual department, the drama does a lot of interesting stuff with the camera work, the cinematography and the editing, which I really enjoyed. Anyway, Our Unwritten Seoul will definitely rank among my favorite TV shows of the year.

The latest episode of Our Unwritten Seoul had me crying buckets. And we still have the final week ahead 😭😭😭
Managed to catch up with Our Unwritten Seoul and I'm loving it! Its reflections on modern life, happiness and mental health feel so relatable to me right now. Can't wait to see what the final two weeks have in store for us.
