i feel the need to evangelize you about rice cookers purely bc someone else did it for me and i'm very grateful. but the one that i bought was just a small one on Amazon for $20 (i think it holds a max of like 3 cups of rice which is plenty) with 2 settings: cook and warm. idk i cooked rice in a pot for the longest and its really not difficult to do it that way, but being able to throw rice and water in the thing and flip a switch and then not have to touch it anymore or check on it is SO nice. once its done it just switches right to warming mode so no matter how long it takes you to make the rest of the food you'll always have warm rice waiting for you!!! i've made more rice in the past month than i probably have in the past 2 years. i love ittttt
OH and it came with a convenient 3/4 cup container to measure the rice in one easy scoop and a rice paddle!! all for $20!! why did i always think rice cookers were only for rich people??
this ask did evangelize me
