hey everyone when you do finish school and where are you from?
God, im so obsessed with whatever Thaisha and Julien have going on. Their scene together is insane to me, just the absolute *chefs kiss*. She let her son (who she has a complicated relationship with) study under him, and he seems genuinely proud of her son's progress (while tacking on a egotistical "because of me" at the end). They can't stand the other, but even while they are arguing, they both agree that they don't hate each other. When Vaelus approaches, and they're rolling perception, Thaisha gives him Guidance through gritted teeth. I can not WAIT to see where this goes!
There’s much bisexual tension between them………..
i actually wouldn't really call noi a pushover- at least not in the typical sense. he's actually pretty assertive, he's just nicer about it than the other guys so he doesn't seem as bad. partnered with the fact that he seeks approval from them, because he wants to prove that he even has the right to exist alongside them.
but, that mostly stems from how daemos values physical strength, so if anything that would just drive him to be more assertive as he wants to show he has the strength to defend himself- because if he can't do that, then there will probably come a point where even asch can't protect him from being kicked out and killed.
on daemos, his inherent kindness is viewed as weakness, and weakness to them translates into uselessness. his empathy hinders his ability to perform acts other daemos not just take pride in, but use as a way to survive. no-one is going to take care of noi, but he can't bring himself to kill others to survive, so he's deemed worthless. unfit to live. but he wants to live. he wants to survive and he knows that he can. so he still fights. he can't kill, but he still fights.
he can come off as kind of submissive based on stereotypes, but he never actually makes way for any of the others when they end up clashing. he's not afraid to tell the others off and state exactly what he wants. just because he's weaker compared to the others and that ends up with him not getting his way most of the time doesn't mean he's not still fighting like hell.
