But in this specific context, it’s just myself and my art-loving tendencies—-your paintings amaze me, and I could stare at them for hours. My favorite thing is visiting you and catching you completely covered in various shades of paint, grime under your nails and stains on your clothes. It means you’re working hard, you’re letting creative thoughts become reality, and its my favorite thing to watch. To have seen you grow further and further into this natural talent of yours is truly the greatest thing in the world to me. You’ve matured and grown so much from 4 years ago.

Listening to you speak is calming, it’s peaceful. I feel like I can’t compare, but I don’t mind all the same. Perhaps its all those nights when we were younger, you would read me stories until I fell asleep. Would it be strange if we still were to do that now, well into our twenties ?
