me to lilly over text: i love you and i’m so grateful to have you in my life. i’m always here for you. the worst thing i someone who offers empty promises. like don’t tell me you’re gonna be there for me if you’re not. don’t tell me you’re here to listen if you’re not. don’t tell me you care about me if you aren’t going to show it. don’t tell me you’re here if i need you because if you knew me you knew i wouldn’t tell you i was hurting. it’s exhausting and it’s disheartening.
