personally i think it's sick how on tumblr dot edu you are required to provide your "i was abused" credentials or you are immediately dismissed/slandered/harassed by people who are much more open about their abuse, as if that's like. a Totally Normal and Good thing required to weed out people who are just talking out of their asses.

i literally thought it was common knowledge by this point not to assume that other people have not experienced trauma just because their point of view differs from yours but apparently it isn't.

i have had this happen to me MANY times since being on this godforsaken website and i can only IMAGINE how many trauma survivors are literally afraid to talk about topics their trauma relates to for fear of having to justify themselves. this is not healthy and it's hurting people.
