something ive been reflecting on a lot is that this person ive been kinda seeing recently has a habit of talking for me when we are together in groups and someone asks me a question (usually about myself) as in like answering the question for me or cutting me off to add parts im not saying like “no but actually also ___ right?!” or even sometimes talking about me when im right there. all of which i (first of all) used to beat myself up for doing to others and (second of all) thought was kind of an inherently bad quality that ive never noted someone doing to me before but the thing is they always get it right and i actually really appreciate it because not only are they engaged and listening to me but theyre also kinda proud to share about me and additionally i actually usually dont want to be sharing about myself or speaking when i dont feel like it so essentially my mind has been changed in a lot of ways

not to say that its always good to talk for other people either but it makes me feel heard and also reminds me there are people that will appreciate what i thought were my most annoying qualities too so
