"YOU WANT A GOD? MY NAME IS HAL JORDAN. MY FATHER CUT THE SKY OPEN."
I've been reading so many batfamily x neglected reader stories lately, and I would love more crossovers with other heroes and stuff. Now don't get me wrong, I love the superman and spiderman crossovers. There's just so many of them and so many other heroes.
Give me a mutant reader that hides their mutation and runs away to Xavier's school for gifted youngsters.
Give me a reader that learns magic from doctor strange and gets unofficially adopted by him.
Give me a reader that's half-Asgardian and goes on adventures with Thor.
Give me a reader that stumbles onto the waverider and 'accidentally' gets kidnap by the Legends of Tomorrow.
Give me a reader that gains one of the lantern corp rings and goes on space adventures.
Give me a reader that meet the Doctor and becomes their companion. That reader finds so many similarities between them and Bruce, but the biggest difference is that the Doctor wears their hearts on their sleeve. There's no guessing game with them. While they're not the greatest at saying 'I love you', they do show it through their actions, something reader could never see with Bruce.
Give me a reader that gets out of Gotham and see that there is so much more to life, that they can find people that will care about them with no strings attached. Then, when they do go back to Gotham, the batfam sees that their little kid is all grown up and did so without them, that just maybe if they had let them in, treated them like family, they could have been there for them. But now it's almost too late, and they have to figure out how to get back into reader's life if they would ever allow them to.
Okay most of this is reader getting adopted by other heroes, but I love the idea of the batfamily trying so hard to keep one member of the family normal. Due to that, it creates a gap and leads that family member directly to the life they wanted them to avoid.

Star Sapphire Jason Todd, but the ring shows up after the Batarang Incident as his people are dragging him to Leslie’s clinic, which results in
Ring: Jason Todd of Ear-
Goon 1: Dude, you can’t just say that, don’t you know ANYTHING about vigilantes?
Goon 2: Yeah, when he’s in the suit he’s Red Hood, get it right
Ring:
Ring: Red Hood of Earth,
Goon 3: “Of Earth?” That’s weird, man
Goon 1: Yeah, if anything he’s “of Gotham”
Goon 2: Nah, Hood’s “of Crime Alley”
And Jason is sitting there trying not to laugh as his people bully a fucking Lantern Ring, because he’s still bleeding and Leslie would genuinely eviscerate him for moving before she’s done with his stitches. Eventually they end up forcing the ring to explicitly lay out everything that accepting the ring would entail like it’s a work contract, and he’s actually kind of proud of them because it meant they were listening, and he doesn’t have the heart to tell them he already knows what a Star Sapphire is (though he did technically learn a few details he hadn’t known before, so it was probably good they did it anyway).
Anyway, the ring eventually makes its offer (calling him Red Hood of Crime Alley in a bid to not be interrupted), and Jason waits as his goons debate the pros and cons, wondering when the ring will realize he can’t actually give verbal consent at the moment due to the, y’know, recently slit throat.
He eventually does accept the ring, once it’s determined that he can choose his outfit and won’t draw too much attention to himself by glowing. It’s probably pretty good timing, since even though Leslie did a good job putting him back together (while all of this was going on, the ring refused to leave him and his people were adamant on fighting for his legal rights against the cosmic entity, which she tolerated as long as they helped and stayed physically out of the way), his throat still hurts like a bitch and the healing magic that rushes through him is pure relief. Anyway, due to the way they had the ring word the proposal, the newest Star Sapphire is logged officially as “Red Hood of Crime Alley,” and Hal immediately starts sweating, absolutely dreading having to tell Spooky that his Crime Lord Problem just got significantly more complicated.
Leslie bargains to have Jason use healing magic on more severe cases, and they set up a schedule for him to work shifts at the clinic, and then she immediately goes to beat Batman’s ass for what happened since she is well aware of who Jason Todd is, and the goons may have already forcefully ejected his name from their minds in respect, but she still hasn’t forgiven Bruce for forcing her to perform an honestly pretty irrelevant autopsy on the kid. She can ask him how he came back later.
Jason is just trying to see how accurately he can form construct versions of his guns. The pink is a bit much, but the unlimited ammo is pretty sweet
Danny’s chaos with the Lantern Corps
Lantern Corps Shenanigans
[Danny with the Indigo Tribe]
Danny: [confused, looking at glowing purple Lanterns] So… you guys are all about compassion? Indigo-1: It is a power most misunderstood but deeply effective. Danny: That’s cool and all, but how do you fight with compassion? Hug people into submission? Indigo-1: [smiles serenely] Something like that. Danny: [turns to Hal] Okay, this one might be too wholesome for me.
[Danny Accidentally Meets Larfleeze, the Orange Lantern of Avarice]
Larfleeze: [hissing, clutching his orange ring] MINE! Danny: Whoa, chill, Tangerine Nightmare. I don’t even want your ring. Larfleeze: [growling] Everything you want belongs to me! Danny: [grinning mischievously] Oh, really? Then I totally want a pet ghost dragon. Larfleeze: [pauses, conflicted] …I don’t have one of those. Danny: [floating off] Thought so. Later!
[Danny Teams Up with a Violet Lantern]
Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris): Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Danny: [grimacing] I dunno about that. Love’s more Sam’s thing. Star Sapphire: And what drives you, young one? Danny: Mostly snacks and spite. Does that count? Star Sapphire: …We’ll work on that.
[Danny at the Green Lantern Bootcamp]
Kilowog: Alright, Poozer, time for training! Let’s see what you’re made of. Danny: [phasing through the ground] Made of ectoplasm and bad decisions, thanks. Kilowog: [laughing] Kid, you’re alright.
[Lantern Corps Debate]
Hal Jordan: He’s too unpredictable to join the Corps. Kilowog: He’s got guts, though. Saint Walker: His hope shines brightly. Sinestro: He could wield fear effectively. Larfleeze: MINE! Danny: [floating nearby, munching on chips] You guys know I can hear you, right?
The Lantern Guard
DP x DC Prompt
The Green Lantern Corps got their power from a Ghost King before Pariah's reign. For their power, they were told to be the guards to the Ghost King. When Pariah was sealed away by the Ancients, all the Lantern corps had lost some power. But when Pariah was freed, they regained those powers, and before any of the Lantern Corps could reach Pariah to fulfill the pact made long ago, he was sealed again, but the mantle of Ghost King had passed to another.
The many Lanterns of the different Corps were searching the universe to see who had become the new Ghost King. They need to fulfill the pact to keep their powers.
All the Lantern Corps were slowly losing their powers the longer they went without being by the Ghost King's side. And then they felt a pulse of power coming from the Ghost King's core, granting them power, that pulse means the Ghost King is in danger. They all follow the pulses from the Ghost King's Core, which leads them to earth.
They enter a facility that is in the Midwest, from what Hal Jordan had told them about the earth's topography of America. What they find is a horrific sight, the Ghost King, a teenage boy, strapped down to a table and cut open.
Hal Jordan reaches a hand up to his ear and speaks
"Batman, you need to prepare the Batcave for medical. We found who we're supposed to protect"
(Yes, I'm a Batlantern shipper, but I'm not too obsessed with the ship)
Green Lanterns x new lantern! reader
Summary: You somehow managed to find your way into the Lantern Corps and all you're the bane of everyone's existence.
TW: Sex jokes. Lots. Halbarry mention? (nothing happened, reader's just teasing)
"Get your feet off the console," John growled.
"Can’t," you said, shifting your weight on the glowing green desk. "My thighs are currently stuck to the hard-light by pure friction. If I move, I lose skin, John. Is that what you want? You want to explain to the little blue smurfs upstairs why there’s human epidermis on the sector map?"
Hal rubbed his temples, staring at the floorboards. "How did you even get past the atmospheric shield? It’s designed to incinerate organic matter that doesn't have a ring signature."
"I slid in under the door while you were letting Barry out," you said, leaning your head all the way back over the edge of the console until you were looking at Hal upside down. "By the way, Hal? What were you doing with Barry in the hangar for six hours? Tactical briefing? Without clothes?"
You let out a loud, wet and breathless groan, rolling your eyes into the back of your head to give the others a visual of what you thought went on in there between the guys.
