What if the entire teenwolf series is just the result of stiles' frontotemporal dementia. What if stiles, smart, creative, imaginative stiles started creating this whole other world in his mind when he started loosing it. One where his bestfriend is a werewolf and the girl he's had a crush on since the 3rd grade- a banshee. A fantastical supernatural world with hunters and witches and demons.
What if none of it is real and its all just a result of his fatal illness. That's why he's always there at the scene of the crime- because there is no crime. Its all in his head. It would also explain how stiles doesn't have any supernatural abilities but Somehow always is the first person to figure everything out. He created the plot, he can solve it.
It's a personification of his ailment. A dark evil spirit buried under his skin, something he cannot get rid of , his shadow - a constant reminder that the only place he's headed is into the darkness. The physical embodiment of an illness that will consume every inch of his being, until he is no longer himself
Until he is no longer alive.
(Watching s3 right now and I just thought of this... ) (Also I'm pretty sure someone's already come up with this theory before, this show is old)
