“She doesn’t have a soul. Have you ever seen her dance?”
“Uh— yeah? You mean that girl? Because I totally agree with you.” She rolled her eyes dispassionately as the two stared down at a girl from the corner of the party, a beer in one hand, and each other’s hands around the other. “Don’t you think she reminded you of that one garbage can in your house because I agree with you.” She followed it with a pair of giggles. “As in, that one your mom never cleaned because it’s just really dirty she gave up— yeah, that’s her.”
