tbh samu is so effin brave for having the courage to leave the sport he’s been doing since he was a child for an industry where he has to start at base zero. no cause he really has the potential to go pro. but he left it all, cause he loves food that much. and i know it took blood, sweat, and tears to open that dang onigiri. i could definitely see him started working 12-hrs shift, six days a week as a kitchen assistant in a restaurant straight after high school to save some money and to learn. then after work and during his holidays, he keeps making those dang rice balls just to get the perfect taste. those three years or so must have been really fricking tough.
