Being corrected totally is a part of growth dude! Like I said in the post, being wrong and realizing you were wrong is how you learn and grow and change. And you’re right, that realization doesn’t come out of a vacuum – you have to listen to others and their perspectives to gain a new one of your own. Being wrong and never listening to people who tell you that is just being close minded.

But, attacking people is en vogue. And that’s not the same as correcting them. What I mean by “not allowed to be wrong” is when a person makes a mistake, they don’t get the chance to learn from it. They’re just condemned as a horrible person. People make mistakes, doesn’t mean they’re irredeemable
tl;dr: being corrected is an important part of growing as a person, attacking people is not correcting them.
