How to place an image in text
This is a short photoshop tutorial that I did to answer all the questions of my followers on how I did my header banner. So here is the answer... Let's go to the first step.
Step 1: Open Adobe Photoshop (I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5) and open the image that you want to use (Ctrl + O)
I've used my own photos as an example.. :P
Step 2: Press CTRL + A to select the entire image then followed by CTRL + C, to copy it.
Once you did the selecting process, you will see a running ants on your entire image.
Step 3: Press CTRL + N to create a new canvass then press CTRL + V to paste it there.
Your new canvass must be transparent.
Step 4: After pasting the image on your new canvass, press letter T to automatically use the text tool then type whatever words that you like.
I've used the Lemons Can Fly fonts for this and use the transform tool (CTRL + T) to adjust the text size.
Step 5: Drag layer 1 (the layer with the picture) right ABOVE THE LAYER.
Step 6: After dragging it, go to Layer then click Create Clipping Mask (ALT + CTRL + G)
Step 7: And now, you're done! Press CTRL + S to save your image. But before saving it, you must get something like this....
You can resize the image by simply pressing CTRL + T if you want it to fit on your text.
FINAL PRODUCT!
So there you go guys! Hope this tutorial is very helpful and very easy to follow. Please do reply or comment if you have any questions regarding this. :)
