HDR Imaging
HDR (High Dynamic Range) Imaging is something that I have come across on a number of occasions but never really given it a go. It works by combining multiple images taken with different exposures to achieve a single image covering the full range, i.e. the image is exposed for the darkest parts as well as the lightest parts. I took 3 images EV, EV+2 and EV-2 of the Said Business School, Oxford. The images were combined using the HDR function in Photoshop and it produced quite a striking image with a lot of detail. Overall, this technique is quite impressive but seems like too much tampering. I prefer to keep the image as original as possible with little adjustment. Looks cool though!
