World AIDS Day and the first advent Sunday, I've never thought about that combination of events before. Do I mourn what is lost, or celebrate what is to come? I think today I'll do both. I'm going to celebrate all those queer spirits, think for a while about the generation of workers, thinkers, artists and activists that we lost.
