Amnesiac- Does this sound like a good book?

"A boy convicted of a felony-

and he doesn't even know his own name."

A young man awakens to find himself chained to a bus seat, with no memory of where he is, why he's there, or even who he is. Dubbed with the number "113514" or "AMEN" as the guards like to call him, he must discover the nature of his crimes and the reason why he has forgotten. Trapped in a penitentiary for young adults, Amen will have to have his wits about him as he braves the facility of lost paperwork and hellish staff. Bored guards, interested scientists, and political scandals all interweave and choke out the confused boy as he tries to discover just who he really is in the first place.  And perhaps his biggest threat are not those who have imprisoned him; but the very one who has imprisoned him in his own mind.
