Wings-- cropped.

Mouth-- shut.

Feet-- bound.

Mind-- clouded.

I am in a box.

A box with no "Open This Side Up" print

A box with no opening at all.

Just a cold, empty box.

I am alone, without a thought.

without a tear.

Because despite our own fear,

We're all in boxes; 

Even you. Even her. Or him. Or your uncle Jim.

So believe it or not, we're all stuck inside our own imaginary box.
