Imaginary Enemies || Part 4
"I'm not leaving, Lex." Jack said, pulling off the remaining blankets before throwing them away in the room. He sat on the bed beside the older male, looking at him. It hurt just seeing him like that, so demolished. They stayed in silence during moments that seemed forever to Jack, and when he decided to speak, he didn't stop.
"I know it hurts. I know you hate everyone right now, but trust me, you can't stop there. If she's gone, well that's too bad for her. Lex, you've suffered more than enough for that girl. That's pushing things way too far and I can't just stand there and watch you just... being like that." He moved his hands, motioning to Alex. "You can't just spend the rest of your days crying and being angry at everyone. Lisa is the one that's stupid for leaving and you know it as well as I do."
Jack looked at him and swallowed hardly. He knew that bitching out Lisa wasn't a good idea, but it was the truth. He hated Lisa. He always did, because he was jealous of her. Jack simply hated every of Alex's girlfriends because he wanted him. Still, right now wasn't really the time for that. He moved closer to Alex, looking at him. "Alex, please." He began, his voice soft. "Don't let us down. You're worth way too fucking much to me... Please."
