Dreamy Adventures by @flippermood
“It does not take a day to get cheesy. It does not take a day to show someone you love him. We love daily and a little. And well. Maybe the day is a reminder for marketing and it is valid. But love is always there. Not only love of a couple. There is love everywhere and poetry everywhere. Sabines and Rulfo wrote a diary to those they loved, and if they loved them more, they wrote more. Even without someone, Garcia Lorca or Buesa talked about love. Pizarnik talked about the pain of love. But love at last. We have to get cheesy and tell those of us that we want to do it. That we value the love that they give us, whether passionate or romantic. All love counts. Nobody is ever so alone because always, there is always someone who loves us even if we feel unprotected. Leave the bitterness, you anti-Love, and read poetry as always. Let’s call someone and say a poem in a low voice. Let’s embrace more and hate less. Let’s listen in silence to one’s own heart, although it can not be for anyone. Although everything is calm and, as Cortázar says, we must continue to put poetry in people’s lives …” -Clara Ajc @de-poesia-y-poetas
