"Y/n! Up. Now." Mum burst into the my new room. I opened one eye. "We're going shopping, be ready in 15 minutes"
"I can be ready in 5 minutes" I huffed, it didn't take me long to get ready, I didn't wear makeup and I didn't do my hair all fancy. Once I was ready I strolled downstairs.
"That was 10 minutes, y/n, let's go" mum complained.
"But I don't want to go shopping" I huffed.
"You going with your mother" dad said. I sighed and walked out the door to the car.
"You need to have some food before you go. I'm not having you pass out" mum said, getting into the drivers seat next to me.
"I'm not going to pass out! Plus I'm not hungry"
"You will be when you get to the shops" mum huffed, pulling out of the driveway.
"I won't be"
"Can we get these?" I asked my mum as we walked through the shop.
"No, y/n, if you ask that once more" mum warned. I pulled a face at her behind her back.
"Can I go back to the car then?" I asked.
"No, go look at the CDs, I'll come find you later" she huffed. We were doing a 'big shop', it was so boring. I only came along because my dad told me to, we had to get stuff in, we had not long moved into our new house and we were a little low on food. You'd think I would be excited about moving to a new country but I wasn't really. I huffed and walked away, going to look for the CDs. I groaned as I walked around the shop a second time trying to find them, I was actually looking for the DVDs. I walked backwards looking down an isle, there they are. I smiled happily to myself, they had such a huge collection, it was like we were in a DVD shop. There was only me and man standing at the other side of the aisle. He was wearing a grey top with a maroon beanie.
I kept glancing at my phone, at least half an hour had passed and he was still standing in the same place and I really wanted to look at the DVDs there. I finally gave up and walked to stand next to him. I had a bit of money that my mum said I could spend, so I was looking for something to buy. If only I could buy Dylan O'Brien, I thought and smiled to myself.
I looked to the DVDs where the man was standing. I finally found what I was going to buy. "Oh my gosh" I said out loud, grabbing the box set.
"You like Teen Wolf?" The man asked.
"Hell yeah!" I said, looking at the back of the box set. Before he said anything else, I said "I'm sorry I have to go." I needed to find my mum.
Once again I walked around the whole shop, I couldn't find her anywhere, there wasn't any point in ringing her, her phone was in the car. I huffed as I walked down the last isle. Stationary. Always reminded me of school. I groaned, why does she always walk away and leave her phone in the car?
"You alright?" The same man as before asked.
"Yeah, I've lost my mum and I need to go home so I can binge watch this" I said, holding the box set up. I looked at my phone.
"You like Dylan O'Brien?" The man asked.
"Yeah, wh-" I looked up, "oh f*ck" Dylan O'Brien is standing in front of me. I smiled, "well you know... Can you sign this please?" I asked, holding out the box set.
"I don't have a pen and you haven't paid for it" he said, smiling.
I reached over and grabbed a permanent marker and handed it to him, "first problem solved, what was the other one?"
"You haven't paid"
"Right" I said, "don't move" I said and ran to the till, I was thankful I had my bank card in my pocket. I handed the box set to the cashier, she scanned it and I paid, I wasn't in the mood for small talk. I picked it back up, along with the receipt, I turned and saw Dylan being served behind me being served. He was buying batteries and a pen. "I'll give you the money for the pen" I said as he moved away from the till and we moved to the side, near the window.
"Don't be silly" he smiled and signed the box set.
"Thank you! I bet you think I'm a crazy fan, I'm not, I'm just... I don't know how I found you but can't find my mum" I said, laughing.
"Nah, I get it." He laughed. I smiled.
And then the best moment of my life was ruined. "Y/n! Where have you been?"
"Beacon Hills, where do you think?" I said sarcastically.
She rolled her eyes, Dylan laughed, "you and that bloody teenage wolf"
"Teen Wolf" I corrected. She glared at me, "can I have a picture please?" I asked Dylan.
"Sure" he said and pulled me into him, I gave my mum my phone and asked her to take the photo. "Nice meeting you" he said and hugged me after we took the photo. "Might even see each other in here again" he joked.
"Yeah" I laughed. I waved as mum and I walked to our car, he stood outside the shop.
"Aren't you going to ask him if he wants a lift?" Mum asked looking at him. She didn't have a clue who he was.
"No mum, he'll say no, trust me on this"
"Manners cost nothing now go" mum shoved me towards him.
I huffed, "hey... Again, my mum was wondering if you wanted a lift? I know your gonna say no, me being a fan but you know"
"Sure, beens your offering" Dylan smiled, I laughed.
"Come on then" I said and we walked to the car.
