request: Dylan (The Quarry) request for you, if that’s okay! Dylan x shy reader while playing truth or dare. He helps her pick someone and pick a question or dare for them when she’s struggling to think of something. And he gets really protective when someone asks her a question, making sure nobody asks anything that crosses a line. Maybe someone calls Dylan out on it and he has to admit to his feelings? idk it just sounded cute lol
*bravery: courageous behavior or character.

“I-I don’t know if this is the best--”
“Come on, Y/N! Lighten up!”
Frowning at Emma’s words, you swallow thickly. A quick glance around the rest of the group tells you most of them feel the same -- you were being boring, ruining the mood... you needed to lighten up.
But... whilst truth or dare seemed like a fun game on paper, someone almost always ended up getting hurt. Someone always ended up feeling like something wasn’t fair, or that a question had gone to far. You’d seen it enough to happen, been forced to participate in this stupid game, and yeah, sometimes? it was you.
Sometimes, it was other people.
“Hey,” Dylan calls out, pulling you from your thoughts as he steps towards you, sending Emma a look. “She doesn’t need to lighten up. If she doesn’t want to play, she doesn’t have to.”
And it was odd -- Dylan speaking up like that; especially for a game you figured he’d want to play in an instant. Getting to know him as much as you have, you know he’s the type who likes to play pranks, joke around with others and probably, get into the nitty-gritty of a truth or dare game for the fun of it.
So--
“It’s just a truth or dare game,” Kaitlyn shrugs. “I don’t see what’s the big deal.”
“Kaitlyn--”
You step forward, shaking your head; “it’s fine, Dylan. Don’t worry about it.” You send a soft, unsure smile his way, somewhat forced, before facing the others with a shrug. “Sure, why not?”
Almost instantly Emma breaks into a smile, bounding over to her. “That’s my girl!” She cheers, taking your hands into her own and clasping them tightly as she ushers everyone to take a seat around the fire.
And then, five minutes later, it’s your turn to ask a question.
You’re thankful towards the fact that no ones elected to choose you as their victim for their round, but part of you suspects it might have to do with the fact that Dylan’s placed himself directly next to you on the log. His shoulders touching your own and there’s hardly a breath of space left between you, and it seems like every time someone’s eyes gravitate your way, he tenses as if in preparation.
But now it’s your turn and you haven’t a clue who to ask. Your eyes keep flickering across the group, and you can tell they’re getting impatient as you sit there practically twiddling your thumbs.
“Come on, Y/N! Just choose someone! It doesn’t matter.”
Dylan shifts next to you as you exhale nervously and then suddenly he’s cupping a hand around your ear, his mouth right next to it. You feel your whole body tense at the feeling of him so close, not having expected it or how to really even react to the quite intimate action. But before you can really do much of anything, he’s whispering; “choose Kaitlyn.”
You don’t hesitate to listen.
“Kaitlyn,” you call. She instantly perks at the sound of her name, grinning wide. “Truth or dare?”
“Truth,” she answers with ease, leaning back with her hands bracing her weight. With a tilt of her head, she sends a wink; “ask me the wildest question you can think of, Y/N. I won’t get mad.”
And you realize then why Dylan told you to choose her -- really, out of anyone, she’s the least likely to get upset or insulted by a question.
Biting your lip, you ask the first question that pops in your head; “have you ever cheated on anyone?”
The group seems pleasantly surprised by your question -- probably having figured you’d ask a boring question. Even Dylan looks impressed, and you hate to admit the grin on his lips makes your own cheeks warm slightly at the light praise.
“This, I have to know.” Jacob laughs, shaking his head.
Kaitlyn snorts. “I haven’t,” she shrugs, a pause of silence before adding; “haven’t been in a relationship long enough to.” She smirks, shaking her head.
A chorus of laughter follows her words, and you ease at the fact that you hadn’t managed to make an embarrassment of yourself.
“Good question,” Dylan whispers next to you. Not quite as close as before, but he still leans into your space to do it, and you feel your heart flutter as you meet his eyes briefly, distracted from Kaitlyn as she moves to ask Emma a question next.
“Y/N.”
You must’ve spaced out for longer then you thought, because suddenly Emma’s calling out your name and you freeze at the realization that she’s asking you next.
“Truth. Or. Dare.” She grins brightly at you, leaning forward as she meets your gaze directly.
“I-I...” Feeling eyes on you and not wanting to make an embarrassment of yourself, the word slips past your lips before you can think rationally; “dare.”
Dylan tenses next to you and you almost immediately regret your decision as a sly grin curls onto Emma’s lips and even through the dark, you can see a twinkle of mischief in her as she leans back, clasping her hands before herself.
“Hmm... Y/N,” she calls sweetly, practically singing your name. “I dare you to... kiss Dylan.”
Almost immediately you freeze, every muscle in your body seizing as her words echo and a chorus of ‘ooo’s’ follow. There’s chants of yours and Dylan’s name, and even when Dylan turns to face you, you don’t have the guts to meet his gaze. You should’ve known Emma would do something sly and sneaky like this -- especially because she was one of the only people to know about your feelings for Dylan...
The same Dylan she’s been trying to get you to ask out for since the beginning of summer.
“Umm...” You hesitate, feeling cornered by the gazes on your back.
“Come on, Y/N! It’s just a kiss.”
“Yeah, it’s not that--”
“Hey, come on,” Dylan calls, leaning forward with an adamant shake of his head. “That’s too far.” He turns to you, a frown on his lips. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, Y/N.”
“How is that too far?” Emma immediately argues, “Ryan kissed Kaitlyn!”
“He was into it!”
“And Y/N’s not?”
“No!”
“W-Well--” You try to speak up, but your voice is overshadowed by Emma’s.
“And why do you care so much, huh? Dylan?” She accuses, leaning forward with a raised brow. “Since the beginning of this game you’ve hovered over Y/N, practically glaring at us any time someone wanted to ask her something. Last I checked, she wanted to join the game.”
Dylan shakes his head; “it didn’t seem that way to me. It seemed like she felt she had to.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, because of you guys.”
“Hey!” Jacob calls, brows furrowing. “We didn’t force her to do anything!”
“She didn’t have to,” Ryan shrugs, shaking his head.
“More importantly,” Emma calls out, raising her finger as she keeps her gaze strictly on Dylan. “Why do you care so much?”
He pauses at that. You watch, stunned, as a warm glow hovers on his cheeks and he’s suddenly stammering over her words; all fight has left him as he avoids everyone’s gazes.
Suddenly, it clicks.
Feeling a surge of bravery, you lean forward, your hands falling onto Dylan’s cheeks, gently guiding his gaze upwards before pressing your lips against his own. Everything falls eerily silent the second you do, and you feel him tense beneath your touch, but then, suddenly, he’s easing and his hands are curling onto your hips, pulling closer.
Your eyes flutter shut and any noise, any calls the group makes aren’t heard by you as you relish in the feeling of doing what you’ve wanted since the beginning of summer.
When you pull back, Dylan’s eyes are wide and his lips are parted, stunned.
But he looks completely content.
“See,” Emma calls, pulling your eyes on her as she sends you a thumbs up. “That’s my girl.”

Requested: “I want our first kiss to be special with Thomas please???”
A/N: So, I got this request in last week, and I've finally gotten around to writing it (new baby and all, lol). ANYWAY, I hope whoever sent this in like it! As always, read at your own risk and enjoy 😊
Life in the Glade was rough, I’m not gonna lie. Especially full of girls… and one boy. My best friends in the Glade were Sonya, Harriet, and Aris. Three years spent in the Glade until these guys in black uniforms stormed in and started saving us. Sonya and Harriet somehow managed to escape from those guys and met Vince and the Right Arm.
Aris and I, along with the rest of our Group, were taken to a WCKD facility. One by one, the girls of our Group were called to be taken to a safe haven of sorts… only to be “harvested” and made into Grievers. That’s when Aris met Thomas and started working on a plan to get us all out of the facility.
All of us; Thomas, Aris, Minho, Frypan, Winston, Newt, Teresa, and myself all managed to escape. It wasn’t easy. Aris came back to our room and woke me up, telling me that it was time to leave that nasty place. I was truly thankful. But we lost someone along the way; Winston, and he’ll always be missed.
Well, you know what happens next. We made our way through the Scorch, met Jorge and Brenda, who ended up becoming my best friend. Met up with the Right Arm where Aris and I were reunited with Sonya and Harriet… before Sonya, Aris and Minho ended up getting taken by Ava Paige, as well as being betrayed by Teresa, who got all of her memories back while being in WCKD’s care before we escaped.
We ended up saving Minho, while losing a couple of people along the way, and gaining a new person. Those three being Teresa, Gally… and Newt. Newt hit the hardest for all of us, but especially Thomas.
About two and a half years ago, Thomas started telling me all the things that those two would do together, and how on Thomas’ first night in the Glade, Newt gave him this alcohol stuff that Gally made… that he ended up spitting out of his mouth because the taste was awful. He also told me about how Newt made him a runner, and how in his letter to Thomas, Newt said he’d follow Thomas anywhere because of the fact that he ran into the Maze after Minho and Alby, a friend they lost in the Glade to the Grievers.
A few days after Thomas woke up in the Safe Haven, I saw him standing at the far end of the beach, staring out at the ocean. It was then that I developed my little crush on him, feeling it manifest over the course of two and a half years.
Now, here we are. Two and a half years later, and we’ve been together for about four of those months. We’re still in the honeymoon phase, but it’s been awesome. We just sort of fell into our relationship. I was there for him on the nights when he had nightmares about Newt and Teresa, as well as dreams about the Glade. His hammock was right next to mine, so when he would whimper at night because of those dreams, I’d always wake him up gently and say sweet words to him before he would place his hand on my arm and ask me to lay with him.
And I probably know what you’re probably thinking; have Thomas and I had our first kiss? And my answer to that would be… no.
It’s a couple weeks after Christmas and everyone is helping out by taking down all the homemade Christmas decorations we all pitched in to make. Of course, we got to keep the ones we made. We just had to remember where we put them for next year.
Oh, I forgot to mention that in the four months Thomas and I have been together for, he and Vince, along with Minho, Gally and Jorge, built a small hut for him and I to live in.
Okay. Back to now.
I noticed that Thomas was talking to Vince very animatedly. What it was, I couldn’t tell you, but it had me very intrigued.
“What do you think they’re talking about?” Sonya asked, startling me. She chuckled, “I’m sorry,” while putting her hand on my shoulder.
“Don’t do that ever again,” I said.
“You’ve said that before. Didn’t really work.”
Feeling someone walk up next to me, they asked, “What are they talking about?”
Shrugging, I said, “I don’t know, Hare. But it must be something very important.” I guess they shared a look because I heard them both lightly chuckle. I looked between them and said, “Care to share with the rest of the Glade? I mean, class.”
Walking by, Aris said, “They’re talking about you, Y/N/N.”
I followed him with my eyes as he walked away, something inside of me saying to follow him. “Hey, wait a second! You can’t just walk by spilling that kind of information and not give details.”
“Can’t. All the guys are sworn to secrecy. See ya later!”
What he said stopped me dead in my tracks. I couldn’t believe that he would hold out on me! So, I did what any other girl would do. I went to Brenda.
“Bren!” I exclaimed, finding her reading in her hammock.
“Hey, Y/N/N,” she said, sitting up slightly. “What’s–”
“What’s Thomas planning? Aris said he was talking to Vince about me, and I need to know what he’s planning,” I interrupted.
I noticed her eyes go wide, but I didn’t think enough to stop my mouth from spilling the words that came out. “Because I always help him plan things, even if it’s for me. I mean, I even helped plan our first date because everyone knows I love walking on the beach and stargazing–”
“Y/N/N!” Brenda exclaimed.
Shutting my mouth, I sighed and closed my eyes. “He’s right behind me, isn’t he?”
“Yes, he is,” Thomas said.
I turned around and faced him, giving him a quick kiss on his cheek before walking away, embarrassed that he just heard my ranting. I don’t know what happened next because I walked back to our hut, sitting on our bed and staring out at the water from the window.
I wasn’t sure how much time had passed before I felt the bed dip from Thomas sitting next to me. He didn’t say anything, just held out his hand for me to take, to which I did. Gently dragging me out of bed, Thomas took me to the door of our hut, turning me to face him.
“If you look up, I’ll show what I’ve been ‘planning’,” he said.
I did as I was told and looked up, seeing mistletoe hanging down. Smiling a little, I looked back at him. “You’re gonna kiss me under the mistletoe?”
Shrugging, he said, “I want our first kiss to be special.”
Leaning up on my toes and wrapping my arms around his neck, I whispered, “Would’ve been special either way,” before putting my lips upon his. I savored the feeling of finally having his lips on mine.
When we pulled away and rested our foreheads against each other, I said the three words I’ve been waiting to say. “I love you.”

Masterlist - Series Masterlist
Of course, it had to happen again. Of course, it wasn’t a one time thing. You thought that it was all over when a whole week went by and nothing happened. But of course, once you thought that it was all over, you were waking up in his body once again.
With a loud sigh, you sat down on the edge of the bed and looked through his room again. What you noticed immediately was the board in the middle of the room. The last time it was still there without notes. Now it was full of scribbles.
So you got up and walked over to the board to take a closer look at what Stiles had written down. Immediately, you noticed your nickname. He had Speedy written in capital letters in the middle of the board, followed by a question mark. With a grin on your face, you reached for the crayon and wrote your real name a little smaller underneath. This answered his question about what your real name was. And now that you knew that all this had to be temporary, it was clear that he would read it.
Next, you read: Why in the past? Yes, good question. You asked yourself the same question. Why were you in the future? It didn't make any sense to you. But just to be sure, you looked for his cell phone and checked the time. Sure enough, you were back in the future. Nothing had changed. And once again, it was a day during the week. Once again, you had to go to Stiles' school and tell his friends a lie. And of course Stiles had to survive the day in your body again.
Maybe it would work if you laid down again and tried to fall asleep. At least that's what you hoped, but after only five minutes in bed with your eyes closed, his cell phone rang. It was time to get up. This time the alarm was set later than last time. Apparently, there was no pack meeting scheduled for today.
Last week, when you were back in your own body, you remembered the email you sent to yourself with all the information. Right after school, after Bri, your best friend, told you everything that was going on with you, you rushed to your laptop and looked for the email. But there was no email. Strange, because you were sure that you had sent the email.
So now, back in Stiles' body, you opened his email box and looked for the email. And sure enough, there it was, addressed to your own email. It must have reached you.
Sighing, you put the phone aside and started your morning routine again. A simple outfit, consisting of a shirt with a print on it, a flannel and simple pants, followed by brushing your teeth and the embarrassing visit to the toilet, which you still couldn't handle. After all, you were so sure that this would never happen again...
Stiles' father seemed to be already at work, because his car was not to be seen for miles. But again, he left coffee in the coffee maker for you, or rather for his son.
“Hey! Stiles wait up!” you heard the voice belonging to Scott behind you. You turned around to face Stiles’ best friend and closed the locker. “I’ve been thinking about that thing, you know?”
“What thing?” you asked, hoping that he’d spill his secret with you.
“The thing... oh wait, it’s you, isn’t it?” Scott asked and furrowed with his brows.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you stammered and put the book that you just got from the locker into the bag.
“You’re Speedy, aren’t you?” Scott said out of nowhere. Your eyes opened wide. You had expected everything, but not this. “Looking like this, I’m pretty sure that you are Speedy. Don’t worry, Stiles told me about the encounter.”
“Please tell me he didn’t say anything that will embarrass me right here and right now,” you begged Scott.
“It’s weird. You look like Stiles and sound like him, but the way you speak is so not like him. I should’ve realized that something wasn’t right,” Scott told you and looked around. “Come with me.”
So, as it turned out, you skipped the first two periods of school. You felt insecure about it, but after Scott assured you that they did it all the time, you felt a little more reassured. You were never really the person who skipped school all the time.
Scott knew you must have a lot of questions. And yes, you did. So Scott sat you down in the library and answered every question you had. Of course, the first question you had to ask was if everything you had heard last week was true. He really was a werewolf, just like Liam. He told you how it all happened and who in the pack was affected. He also explained to you exactly what this Mason was all about. Of course, everything confused you very much, but everything also suddenly made sense.
You didn't dare ask it, but Scott realized that one more question was bothering you. He said he would answer it no matter what question you asked. Well, as long as he had an answer for it. And so you asked the one question that wouldn't let you go the whole time.
“It’s Allison’s death that’s haunting Stiles, isn’t it?”
“You know about Allison? Scott asked with a hint of sadness in his voice.
“I went through Stiles’ pictures on his phone the last time it happened. I was just curious, and that’s when I found a picture of her grave.”
“Yeah,” Scott nodded, but kept his head low. “It happened when he was possessed by the Nogitsune. Well, after he was possessed by it. We were able to separate the demon from his body. But the demon was still wearing his appearance, that’s why he’s still feeling responsible for her death.”
“You can tell him to stop feeling responsible for it,” you said and earned a confused look from Scott. “From what I gathered, I can tell that you guys have been through quite some stuff, and I’m pretty sure that no one of you could do anything to stop that demon from hurting your friend.”
“Thank you. It means a lot,” Scott smiled at you. “But now back to you. Does something like this happen to you or your town more often?”
“You mean things like changing the body with a stranger miles away? ... No. I’ve never heard of anything like that before. Not even a werewolf or a banshee... My whole life came crashing down last week. Sure, I never paid any attention to stuff like that, but since then, I kept on looking for hints, but there was nothing.”
“Hmm,” Scott mumbled and grabbed his phone. “I found something online. Something like this happened before somewhere in Europe. None of them is alive anymore, so we can’t reach out for them, unfortunately. But the article said that it kept happening until... well, one of them died.”
“Died?!” you exclaimed with widened eyes. “So you’re saying I have to live like that for the rest of my life?”
“Do you trust me?”
“Yeah,” you replied.
“I think there’s someone else who could help us. He’s a very wise person and helped us a lot.”
The rest of the day actually went the same way as the other day you spent in Beacon Hills. However, you didn't go straight home after you finished the school day. Scott was waiting for you outside on his bike and said that you would ride together to a friend of his. After all, he probably knew a lot about the supernatural world.
After a while, you finally arrived at your destination. Scott rode ahead on his bike and stopped in the parking lot of the local vet. He told that he worked there and that Deaton, who was once an emissary of a werewolf pack, always helped them.
But Deaton was also perplexed. He had never heard of anything like this before. He was a very wise man, but the fact that two people exchanged bodies overnight also left him speechless. He said that he could check with other sources to see if they had ever heard of such a thing, but that day he could not help you. So you had no other choice but to go back home.
Scott said he could keep you company, but you thanked him and said you could get through the day on your own.
Back in Stiles' room, you dropped into the chair in front of his desk. Of course, you could try to go to sleep, but it probably wouldn't do any good. Stiles would probably have to go to sleep, too, so you could switch bodies again.
The notepad on his desk caught your attention. Maybe you should write to him. He might learn something about you and you could share your thoughts with him. A pen was found just as quickly as the notepad. Now all you had to do was collect your thoughts and put them on paper.
Hi Stiles, it's me, Speedy. I thought I might write you a letter. After all, we live each other's lives without really knowing each other. Today, Scott told me about all you guys have been through the last few years. I can't imagine how hard you must have had it. Losing friends and some of your family and then having to keep the real reason why all this happened a secret, that must be very hard for you. Well, you must have noticed that my life is not a special one. My brother annoys me every day, as younger siblings do, my mom is working a lot and my father doesn't really exist in my life anymore. He is still alive, but I don't really want to have anything to do with him anymore. The shirt you wore the first time was his. I actually hide it in the back of my closet on purpose for days when I wish I did have a father. But those days are very rare. You've already met my two best friends, Bri and Carter. Bri is pretty hyper, but I'm sure you've noticed that already. Carter is the quieter one, but you can trust him with anything and he always has the best wisdom. By the way, I'm 17 years old. Well, at least in my time. In your time I would already be 18. Isn't that funny? I mean, the whole situation is strange, but that we are in different times is even stranger. But to stay on topic, I'll write down some important notes for you here. I think it would be better for everyone around me if they never knew about this, and for you so you can blend in a little better. I don't mean to say you did it badly last time, but everyone was confused about my or rather your behavior. You're lucky I don't wear makeup. I prefer to lie in bed for a few minutes longer. So you never have to worry about the makeup. If someone should ask what I have been doing all day, it is always best to answer with reading. That's what I like to do when I'm alone at home. Otherwise, I spend a lot of time with my brother, if he doesn't get on my nerves. In any case, it is important that I do not eat meat! That is very important! I haven't eaten meat since I can remember. So please pay attention to that if you go out to eat with my family or Bri and Carter. They would know right away that something is wrong with me. And if you ever don't feel well, or just want to be left alone, say you get a migraine. I get them all the time. So you can hole up in my room and no one will bug you for the rest of the day...
...For whatever reason, Scott somehow grows on me. Even though I've only seen him twice, I realize that his friends and his friends' well-being come first, come what may. Appreciate that. You can't take something like that for granted. In general, I notice that the cohesion among you is very strong. You are lucky to have such friends. Maybe we'll become friends somehow, someday.
Stiles had to smile when he read the sentence for what felt like the hundredth time. He noticed the letter immediately after he woke up in his body again. After all, you must have dozed off on the desk chair. He remembered waking up with a bad backache.
He had hidden the letter in his desk. He didn't want to hang it on his board, after all, his father could have read the letter. Well, at least then that would answer some questions with his father. Stiles was finally very confused when his father explained to him that he had baked the delicious cookies in the kitchen at that time.
In the meantime, months had also passed. Stiles and you continued to spend several days in each other's bodies. And you slowly got used to the situation. Scott always took a little longer to realize that it was you and not Stiles. You had become so accustomed to his life that it was as if you were really spending time together.
Stiles couldn't deny one thing, either. He found himself liking you more and more. Of course, it was weird to admit to finding the body you were in attractive, but that wasn't the only thing that made you so attractive. It was the way you treated his friends. You made every effort to fit in, you took care of his father and of course the household. Because this often seemed to be forgotten with him and Noah.
But strangely enough, it had been two weeks since Stiles last spent a day in your life. It was as if the connection had been broken. He himself was already noticing how he missed it. Funny enough, at first he wanted nothing more than for the whole thing to end, but after he got used to the situation, he didn't think it was so bad anymore. Especially because it allowed him to see you, even if it wasn't really you anymore. And because you were always leaving him sweet notes, whether it was at his house on his desk, or at your place in your bedroom with lots and lots of Post Its. He would love to pick up the Post Its, but that was impossible.
“I mean, I can’t even text her. I know her number by heart, but at what costs? She’s freaking living in the past! The messages won’t reach her for a whole year!” Stiles exclaimed to Scott as they were walking through the school halls.
“Why don’t we just visit her?”
“What?!” Stiles kind of shouted at his best friend, while he widened his eyes.
“I mean, you know where she lives, why don’t we drive up there and pay her a visit?”
“Are you for real? I’ve never even talked to her!”
“And still you feel something for her, don’t you?” Scott asked with a mischief grin on his face.
Stiles looked down sheepishly, not daring to answer the question. He knew exactly that Scott would immediately recognize even the smallest lie.
“Well, all I can say is that she’s nice and easy to talk to. I bet she’s a great friend. One that we can easily add to our group... And yet, I still don’t know what she looks like,” Scott laughed.
Stiles reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He had searched for you on Facebook many times before. But since he didn't have you as a friend, he could only see your current profile picture and cover photo. The rest you had made accessible only for friends. But your profile picture was enough for him.
“She’s really pretty,” Scott said after looking at your picture.
“Yeah, she is,” Stiles mumbled and put his phone away. “But I’m not sure if she’s ready to see me. I mean, we spent so much time in the life of the other’s, but maybe this is too much?”
“You’ll only find out, when you go there,” Scott replied with a wink and patted his best friends shoulder. “What do you say? Are you up for a road trip to Houma this weekend?”
Stiles pressed his lips together and thought for a long time. He wasn't sure if he was taking it a step too far. He would do anything to see you, to have a real conversation with you and not just through the notes you always left each other on your cell phones.
“You in or not?”
Stiles sighed one last time before he looked at his best friend and said, “Yes, I’m in.”
Stiles was loading the last bag into the trunk of his Jeep when he noticed someone standing behind him. Scott grinned at him with a big smile and threw his travel bag into his arms. But what was more upsetting to Stiles was the fact that Lydia was standing behind Scott. She, too, was carrying a larger bag, which she had slung around her shoulder.
Lydia smiled at Stiles and stowed her bag in the trunk by herself. She knew very well that Stiles was watching her the whole time, but she figured that the boys should sort it out among themselves.
“Why did you bring Lydia? Does she know about-”
“About Y/N? Yes, Scott told me last night. It all makes so much sense now, Stiles,” Lydia interrupted him.
“Why did you tell her?” Stiles raised his voice at his best friend, which he didn’t mean to. As soon as the words had left his lips, he backed away and shut his mouth completely.
“You said that you haven’t heard from her in a while, and maybe there is more behind it. Who else should we bring if not Lydia?” Scott tried to reason with Stiles.
Stiles didn't have to think about it for long. He knew Scott was right. Something told him there was more to this than he thought. Maybe it wasn't so bad to let Lydia in on it after all.
“Okay, just get in. It’s quite a ride,” Stiles said and opened the passenger door while Lydia hopped into the back.
“I have to say this, but I kind of grew fond of the new Stiles,” Lydia snickered from the back once they were on the road. Stiles gave her an annoyed look through the rearview mirror and shook his head. "But is it true that you've been in the past when you've been in her body? How does that work?"
“If I could give you the answer, I would, but I have none,” Stiles replied, hoping that the drive to Houma wouldn’t take that long. But oh boy, was he wrong.
Lydia's questions didn't make the car ride any better. Lydia wanted to know everything. From the first day he woke up in your body to the smallest details. Stiles had also finally told her that he always used her clothing style as a guide when he needed to find a suitable outfit. Lydia grinned proudly and then started to ask Scott if he had any idea why this was happening.
Scott then told her that he had once been with you at Deaton. But he, too, had been perplexed. His other sources had also never heard of anything like this before. It seemed like you and Stiles were the first ones to go through this. The case in Europe seemed to be a dead end.
The troop was about to reach Houma when Lydia, in the back seat, widened her eyes and screamed loudly, "Stop!"
Stiles pressed on the brakes with all his might, hoping that no one would drive behind him. Terrified, he turned around and stared at Lydia in confusion. Lydia was sitting in the back seat, breathing heavily and had her hands resting on her chest. Scott had also turned around and was the first to dare ask something, "What's wrong?"
"Something happened. I've never felt anything like it."
"Sensed what?" asked Stiles.
"It's so intense, it feels like someone is stabbing my chest with a knife," Lydia said quietly, looking around. "But it's not just one stab.... it's thousands."
Stiles turned his head to give Scott a questioning look, but he too shrugged and looked ahead again. And what he saw shocked him to the core. Scott rested his hand on Stiles' shoulder to get his attention. Stiles hummed and followed Scott's gaze. This one was directed at the "Welcome to Houma" sign. It was decayed, full of weeds already half overgrown, as if the city hadn't taken care of it in ages. One more look to the back was enough for Stiles to continue the drive. Although Lydia was cowering more and more in pain, he had to know what had happened here.
"Has anyone noticed that we haven't encountered a car or person yet?" asked Scott after they had been driving around town for a few minutes.
Stiles could remember exactly every single street. Everything was exactly the same. Only everything looked deserted. No lights, no people, nothing. As if the town had died out. Stiles took the next right and drove a few more yards before pulling into a driveway and parking behind the familiar blue Mini.
"Her car is here," he said nervously, shutting off the engine.
Scott was the first to open the car door and helped Lydia out of the car. By now, night had fallen, but the streetlights made no sign of coming on. So Stiles reached for the flashlight in the glove compartment and finally got out of the car, too.
The lights in the house were all off, too, even though it was only 9 p.m. Stiles looked around the yard and shone the light everywhere. The yard had not changed. Except for the fact that the lawn hadn't been mowed in a long time and weeds were making their way to the surface from every possible direction. The houses around were all dark as well. Not a single light seemed to be burning.
"Stiles," Scott called, already standing at the door. Stiles turned and lit up his two friends who were standing next to the door, pointing to something that hadn't been there last time.
"What's that about?" asked Lydia as she observed the red cross on the white front door.
Stiles walked past them and wiped at the red paint. It appeared to be old because the paint had already completely soaked into the wood. All at once, Stiles turned and shined his flashlight on the house across the street. On its brown front door, too, was the exact same red cross.
"What happened here?" asked Scott, peering into the apartment through the window next to the door.
"There's only one way to find out," Lydia said, opening the front door, which was unlocked. Stiles looked at her in shock. She couldn't just walk into someone's house without knocking, could she? But from the looks of it, no one was home anyway.
"You know your way around here best," Scott said, letting Stiles run ahead. Without thinking too much, he walked to the stairs leading up and held onto the railing as he ran up. He pulled his hand right back, though, when he noticed that the entire railing was dusty.
"Seems like no one has been here for a long time," said Lydia, who tried to turn on a light, but all the light switches didn't seem to work.
Stiles didn't let that distract him and aimed for your room. For whatever reason, he knocked carefully before opening the door. Everything was so dark, as if all the positivity had moved out of the room. The pictures on the wall didn't seem to be what they once were. The desk was a pure disaster and he knew you would never leave it like that as you were a very neat person. It almost seemed like you were pulled away from your desk, taking everything down with you that could.
He sat down on the bed and reached for the first notebook that was in front of him. Of course, it was the notebook he always left something in for you. He never thought he'd see it again. With a slight smile on his lips, he flipped through the notebook and reread all of your answers until there was a light knock on the door. Stiles raised his head and looked into Scott's eyes. He just pointed with his head in the direction of the hallway and left the room directly. Stiles put the notebook back on the bed and got up to follow his friend. He had already run back down the stairs and was standing in the kitchen next to Lydia at the big dining table.
"What?" asked Stiles, looking at both of them.
"That feeling I had on the way here, I didn't have it for nothing," Lydia began, handing her phone to Stiles. "There's a reason why the city is empty."
Stiles reached for Lydia's cell phone and found an article she must have pulled up. Houma, the town that disappeared in a day, was the title of the page. "What's this?"
"Stiles, everyone who used to live here is.... dead," Scott tried to explain carefully.
"Dead?"
"The article is dated July 21, 2012. The entire city was wiped out on July 9, 2012. Here is a list of all the people who were missing or declared dead. I'm sorry, Stiles, but I found their name here. Y/N is dead."
"That can't be," Stiles objected, reading the article in full.
Houma, the town that disappeared within a day. What happened here? The story of the abandoned city of Houma is one of the best-known examples of a city that suddenly ceased to exist. One moment it was a thriving metropolis, then all the citizens of the city disappeared within one night. One thing is clear, the citizens of Houma did not leave their homes voluntarily. Red markings on all doors cause unrest in the neighborhood. No one dares to enter the city. Police officers and the FBI can't explain what happened here.
Days later, after almost the entire population of Houma was found dead in a remote forest area, many are still reported missing by friends and families.
We have compiled a list for you of all the people who-
“I think you shouldn’t read any further,” Lydia said and grabbed her phone.
“I’m confused,” Stiles mumbled and sat down on one of the chairs. “It makes no sense.”
“Well, it kind of does. It explains why it stopped so suddenly. Because she died, right?” Scott asked.
But Stiles couldn't focus on Scott's question. He was busy doing the math. July 9 everything was happening on July 9. He couldn't help but do the math.
"Guys!" he yelled, jumping up from his chair. "None of this has happened yet!"
"Stiles, we have it right here in black and white-"
"No, you don't understand!" he interrupted Lydia. "The last time we swapped bodies or whatever was barely two weeks ago, yeah? It was only the middle of June! I remember it clearly! It was only the middle of June. I was at the movies with her best friends. This one movie came out and Bri really wanted to see it. It was only the 19th of June. I am 100% sure! Then it would have to be July 7 if I calculate correctly. It hasn't happened yet! I can still stop it."
"What do you mean?" asked Scott, looking at his best friend.
"It hasn't happened yet. If I count the days from last time to now, it's only been 18 days. If I was at the movies with Bri on June 19 and add 18 days, then today is only July 7 with her. I have two more days to stop it!"
"Stiles! We don't even know what exactly happened!" argued Lydia. "And if I understand it correctly, this actually happened more than once a week between you guys. It's been over two weeks now since it last happened. How are you going to manage to wake up in her body again?"
"I don't know! But maybe that's why she's still in the past?! Because I have to save her! Lydia! That would all make sense!" Stiles tried to explain to her.
What they both didn’t notice, however, was that Scott had already left the table and walked into the living room. While Stiles and Lydia were discussing, he wasted no time and called Deaton in the meantime.
"It can't be that simple, though, Stiles."
"It is! Maybe it really can be that simple for once."
"Stiles, there's nothing simple about this situation. Listen to yourself. You're trading bodies with a girl miles away without even knowing her. On top of that, she's still in 2012 while we're already living here in 2013. Her entire town is wiped out. No one survived whatever happened here."
"Pagans," Scott said without further ado as he re-entered the kitchen. "They were Pagans. They sacrificed the whole town. They believed it had to meet the demands of a deity or magical power as the only way to ensure its own well-being or continued existence. We're dealing with something very bad here."
After the lacrosse game, I tried to find my boyfriend, Stiles, but he was nowhere to be seen. I even looking in the boys locker room. He is nowhere around here. Maybe he went home or something.
“Hey Mr Stilinski! Have you seen Stiles anywhere? I can’t find him anywhere.” I ask him. A look of concern washes over his face.
“No sorry Y/N I haven’t seen him. The only other place he could be is at home. Maybe you can check there?” He replies. I slowly nod, rushing over to my car, getting into the drivers seat.
Once I make it to his house, I pull out the spare key which he gave me.
“Stiles! Stiles are you here?” I shout through the house. I walk up the stairs and towards his room. I slightly open the door, revealing Stiles sat on his bed. He is facing away from me and doesn’t even acknowledge me when I enter the room.
“Stiles... Are you okay?” I ask him in a soft voice. I hear him quietly sniffle, indicating that he has been crying. When he turns to face me, I see a nasty looking bruise on the side of his face, a busted lip to accompany it.
“Oh Stiles, who did this to you?” I ask, sitting next to him on the bed, examining his face.
“It was one of the stupid lacrosse players on our team. It doesn’t matter though.” He says quietly. I shake my head, “Doesn’t matter? Stiles, one of your team members beat up my boyfriend! Of course it matters!” I exclaim.
Stiles sends a soft smile my way. When he doesn’t say anything, I continue to ramble on. “I swear to god, when I find him, I’ll kill him! I love you so much and I will never let anyone get away with this!”
“Come here.” Stiles pulls me close to him. We lay down on top of his covers. He wraps his arms around me, pulling me into him. We stay like this for a few minutes until he speaks up again.
“Y/N I really love you. You know that right?” He gives me a cheeky grin. “But please don’t go attacking the stupid idiot who hurt me okay? I know you’re stronger than him. I don’t want you getting into trouble.” He laughs, pulling me closer, if that is even possible.
We stay in each others embrace, enjoying the peace. Eventually, we both fall asleep, cuddling each other.
I groaned slightly shifting in the warm bed. The sunlight from the little window hitting the bed and the covers slightly warming it up in the bright morning light. The half-broken bedframe covered with a barely still functional mattress, I groaned I normally have something nice to cuddle on. I opened my eyes seeing the rays on sunlight coming in through the window shining on the bottom of the bed and on the other walls of the room. The falling apart wooden furniture against the walls of the little room covered with all sorts of little things, the floor covered with clothes. I groaned again turning around hearing the bed creak and crack as I did and my eyes met a beautiful sight.
The bright morning sun shone across the wall the pattern of the widow frame shadowed on the walls and on the familiar thin figure. He was barefoot still his skinny pale legs slightly covered as his lanky yet muscular arms where in the middle of pulling up his brown trousers, His tight red boxer shorts clung to every curve of his cute little booty. He pulled them up higher starting to do the knots upon the ties to keep his trousers up. His skinny pale back exposed to be covered in a couple of bright red claw marks, I guess that was me. As soon as he was done he yawned stretching his body his back slightly curving as he did, his hand coming back to rub on the small of his back a little where it has been aching the last few days, he searched the floor a while his blonde fluffy hair bounding as he did till he grabbed his orange vest slipping it on and as he did he noticed me.
"Good Morning Newt" I blushed my voice horse and almost a whisper
"Good morning Tommy" He smiled coming over resting a hand on the mattress and giving my lips a soft kiss I happily kissed back his lips tasting as good as they did last night I pulled him closer but he pushed back going back to getting dressed "You sleep okay?"
"Fine, I like when we sleep in your room" I smiled
"Yeah me too" He smiled "beats chuck sitting staring at us" he laughs
"He's just curious" I laugh
"I don't care if 'e's curious, Bloody kid puts me right off" He sighed "Were you watching me get dressed, Tommy?"
"Maybe" I shrug
"why?" he laughs looking around for his hoodie
"You're sexy in the morning" I smirked
"Aren't I sexy all the time?" He complained
"You know what I mean" I argue
"You mean Tommy, your still bloody 'orny?" he asks
"maybe" I shrug
"Later," he winked as he found his hoodie slipping it on and picking up my shirt throwing it onto the bed "get your pants on Tommy, else Alby's gonna get up in your ass about you being late again"
"Well... I rather like that" I smirked
"I thought you only liked when I did that?" he asked
"Humm... maybe I need a change" I shrug
"You are so bloody 'orny this morning Tommy" He laughs going and getting his machete over his back and his other things he needed for work
"It's your fault," I tell him
"why?" he laughed
"You were too good to me last night" I smirked
"Was I?" he smirked sitting on the bed with me his hand the other side of me so I was trapped "I'll remember that, I won't be so good to you next time" he smirked moving down to kiss me I happily kissed back our kiss quickly turning to a sleepy make out slowly but surely getting closer till he moved a little to be sat over me his legs either side of my hips and he pulled back "Ummmm Tommy.. you are 'orny this morning" He smirked licking his lips gently moving his hips on mine to gently ride my cock through the thin covers
"why don't you take care of me then?" I smirked he blushed a little biting on his lip a little "Help me wake up? and help me be a little less horny"
"Okay" He smirked he gave my lips a sweet kiss before kissing down my jaw and down my neck, every place he could pressing little kisses till he reached the covers he looked up at me those sweet puppy brown eyes silently asking and I winked making his cheeks flush with blush again as he tugged the covers down to my knees he looked away from my hard cock a moment but he couldn't resist looking. Newt bit his bottom lip hungrily as he looked at my shaft, not a moment later he licked his bottom lip and ran his tongue from base to tip of the underside of my cock innocently I smirked trying not to moan as he did this a few times before his tongue began to play with my tip licking it like an ice cream I tugged on his hoodie a little and he blushed taking the head in his mouth sucking hard on the tip "Uhh shuck newt!" I groaned petting his soft blonde hair as he sucked "Newt... More" I warn and he happily took all of me in his mouth sucking and slowly moving his head I couldn't take anymore I pushed him away and he sat up a little confused having to wipe his mouth with the back of his hand "Come on" I smirked he blushed a little more undoing his pants and sitting on my lap as he pushed his pants down and kicked them off his feet sitting above my cock in his tight red boxers "You sure?" I asked
"Sure of what?" he asks
"You sure You wanna be on top?" I asked carefully gently running my hand across his ankle
"I'll be fine Tommy" he smiled
"If your sure," I smirked pulling him down to kiss me and almost ripping his boxers off so I could slip inside him
"Uhh! Bloody hell! Shuck Tommy!" He groans sitting up perfectly lightly grinding himself on me his hands on my stomach biting his mouth hard trying to contain himself his cheeks red with blush, his eyes squeezed shut as his face read-only of pleasure "Tommy... Please" he pleads starting to rock himself best he could
"Ahh! shuck newt!" I groaned gently starting my thrusts...
"Umm I wanna be woken up like that every morning" I smirked hugging newt a little closer as he was now all sleepy
"what me bouncing on your cock?" he asked
"Yeah, you look very beautiful riding my cock newt" I smiled petting his soft hair giving his head a kiss
"I like doing it" he smiled "But come on any later Alby's gonna come get us" he laughs
"Five more minutes" I smiled pulling him closer
"Five more" He smirked nuzzling close to my chest but there was a loud bang on the wall
"WILL YOU GUYS SHUT UP!" Gally yelled "It's my day off and I have no desire to be woken up and forced to listen to you two banging at six in the Morning!" He complained
