One day Crowley discovered a snake tank in the back of the book shop and questioned the angel about it.
Aziraphale said he never mentioned it because he never saw Crowley as a snake in a long time and assumed that was uncomfortable for him. He bought it without thinking really, and hid it behind books and papers to never be found. He never thought about getting rid of it, somehow he just couldn't, so it stood there.
The book shop now has a big black snake in a beautiful tank, it seems to get very angry whenever someone touches the books or say something mean about the owner. It stays on that huge tank, looking at the clients with curiosity. Kids love it and the parents would often get impressed at how the snake seemed to play with the children, like it knew how to deal with the little ones.
The best part is when the owner of the shop appears. The snake almost smiles to him while going around his neck to rest on his shoulders.
If you pass by the shop you will see a man taking care of the store with a beautiful snake happily watching whatever he does.
