more of a build toward Laura changing her opinion of Carmilla, it happened over the course of maybe 2 or 3 episodes really, a bit fast imo

an explanation as to why the girls were captured, given the brain parasites and then let go before being captured again? it just seems so inefficient, since no one cares when they disappear entirely anyways

for Danny to not have been completely cut out of the show after Laura gets mad at her

for some of Laura's own flaws to be acknowledged and maybe addressed

for the fact that Carmilla did actually participate in the deaths of dozens/hundreds of innocent people to be talked about (I know that her mother was the main reason, but still, it happened)

Include more of Harry's humour and sass

Include more of the moments where Ron is an awesome friend to both Harry and Hermione

Have the full battle in the Department of Mysteries, not just them running through the prophecy room

Revert the death of Voldemort back to the book version, where he just collapses dead like any other person, completely ordinary in the end

ot3: walking between my s.o and you and i grabbed the wrong damn hand au but not quite au; carmilla walking bt laura & danny, sort of not really paying attention, lost in thought and only half listening to the two of them talking, automatically reaching out to hold laura's hand but raising the wrong arm? and like? tucking her hand into danny's? and danny is like? really??? really??? surprised??? but she doesn't immediately let go

(she's amused bc big bad carmilla, but also danny's a handholder and carmilla's palms are soft) and carmilla is like, BLUSHING, but like, tries to turn it into a really deliberate action so she just like reaches out her other hand to grab laura's hand too but refuses to actually say anything and just makes them keep walking
