A gasp of realization softly escaped him as he turned his body towards his companion. "It is indeed Welsh writing, although I do not blame you in mixing the two up. Even I needed a moment to come to that conclusion." Layton then looked around him and smiled knowingly. "We ought to be in Wales, then. This scenery most certainly is telling me as such."

"I want to go home and sleep, not get used as a damn flashlight."

He steps over the log with much less enthusiasm, hugging his leather jacket tighter around himself. "I'd turn around and leave if I didn't think my audience would get a kick out of my suffering. Ain't no way Bigfoot only comes out in these extremely specific conditions. You're pullin' my leg." And really, maybe he should be questioning his own sanity at this point, considering how often Snowy lets him.

Is that a Lightner?? In his studio, just like that? His antennae jolt upright as the man darts away, an outstretched hand doing absolutely nothing to convince him to stop running. Tenna stumbles out into the hallway after, more confused than anything.

He doesn't think he's scared the guy, at least, judging by the gleam in his eye and the grin that had appeared. But why run away when he'd put in all that effort just to talk to the big guy in charge? The idea is baffling--and perhaps just a touch worrying, when Tenna considers the possibility of letting a Lightner just disappear like that.

That thought alone is enough to shock him into movement once more; Tenna finds his footing and sprints down the hallway after him, screen looking frantically for the flash of a cream-colored suit.
