Current project. Just dropped off at The Box Show in Point Reyes. 150 boxes. 150 artists ... by invitation. Use the box or some portion of the box. That is the only criteria. . Watching Paint Dry This project began as a single milk crate and a quest to make a miniature spray can. I went out in search of materials to make a can of spray paint and came home with a glue stick (for the hot glue gun), a package of googly eyes, and a pack of silicone earring backs ... assembled them together and printed labels for Spray Ravioli and Spray Spaghettios (because I can). It worked! We bought the milk crates, the cooler, the window, and the picture frames. Everything else was fabricated ... walls, floors, ceiling, door, paint cans, rust, rollers, pans, lunches, assorted junk foods, electrical outlets and light switches, sandpaper, paper towels, books, magazines, spray Ravioli, dropcloth, brushes, paint, extension cord, cigarettes, matches, post-its, tape measures, newspapers, caulk guns, paint samples, and sponges ... Wait... I know I forgot something. #barrychukerman #theboxshow2018 #watchingpaintdry #becauseican #imakesmallstuff #galleryrouteone
