So I played Temple Run 2 for the first time this year

Temple Run 2 Review

These are only some things that I thought about in Temple Run 2: 1) STORY The game is beautiful, but it needs a story. Like, why are they there? Why are they retrieving the idol? Why is it so precious that a demon monkey has to guard it and follow you to the death? It was a major plot hole and I don't know the sense of the game. The easiest story for this is that someone has scouted them and has let them get the idol of a deity/god of some sort. Plus, the one who scouted them might have had a few rules or wanted a few things to be achieved, making the objectives of the game his/her orders, having a slight purpose. 2) CONNECTIVITY I was really happy about Frozen Shadows. It was really beautiful. Plus it incorporated some of the things on Sky Summit like the design on the pillars and the tiki faces on rocks and the floating "8" thingie and more. When they updated with a Blazing Sands and a Lost Jungle, they made the entryway into animals and based it out of places of ruin (Egypt and India). Connectivity is important because they are stealing the same item out of every temple. The easiest change for this is to change two of the entryways: Frozen Shadows and Sky Summit. Slight changes and Frozen Shadows could look like a polar bear. A huge development and Sky Summit could be a winged specie, if you still want connectivity. If this will be achieved, it can still have a story. The sense of those changes is that they can be the gods of those specific places. A sky god, a tundra god, a desert god, and a jungle god. All of them as animals. It would also be best for the idols to change in every one, becoming the animal gods today. The Sky Summit having a bird idol, Frozen Shadows a polar bear, something like that. 3) THE FIRST ONE Is it not possible to incorporate the first Temple Run to the second Temple Run? I thought about this ever since the second one appeared. They could just make another map, showing a swampy mangrove with an alligator for its god. If it is also possible to get the data from the first game to the second that would be rad. If some of the objectives on the first game were achieved, they have already achieved the objectives on the second game that were similar to the first when playing the second. Stats in the first game can be copied and to compensate for the lost game, they could give all their lifetime coins and gems back. And, as a reward, the "2" which I am so annoyed of could be removed now. And yes, I know how hard it is to let go of the first one, considering they got the world by storm with that one, but they made a really good job in making the game better and they have to let go because from what I'm seeing, the first Temple Run doesn't get updates anymore and the people are more inclined to playing the more improved one. 4) SKY SUMMIT I hope Imangi Studios could improve the first one, because the rocks and trees and LEAVES of Frozen Shadows were so beautiful. I know Sky Summit was the default, but it doesn't mean that it has to look like one. Add more floating islands, add more obstacles, make things beautiful. 5) ARTIFACTS Shouldn't we at least see a glimpse of the artifacts in the game? Like, I really want to see a melon turtle while on the water slide or a Predaberry bush on the forest of Sky Summit due to reasons. WELL, THERE YOU HAVE IT. All of the other things I want to critisize are minor and could live without but this is all for now. This is vvictius, signing off. *leaves*
