WHY DO I KEEP DREAMING OF TEMPLE RUN.
For context, I had this barely memorable dream of going to an amusement park of sorts. It was very beautiful but for some reason I was wearing the mask that resembles the Demon Monkey, the main thing chasing you throughout the game. It was a pretty nice one, I think I painted it myself.
After wandering away, I found this sandy colored rock cave area with vines growing around it and I think something walked out of there with a Demon Monkey mask except it was far more elaborate in design, and made of what looked to be iron. It had motifs etched into it and a lovely headdress. It turned it's head to the side as it stared at me and then gave me its pretty mask — But didn't show me it's face. I thought little of it, put my painted mask on and put the iron one above it because the iron one covered only the top part of my face and not my jaw.
Then I was walking through the park trying to find some relatives I was seemingly with but as I did so I saw people look at me really strangely, but when I looked at myself I was rather normal. I also had people say, 'Nice cosplay! That's so cool!' even though I wasn't really thinking I was cosplaying. I mean hell I was just wearing black clothes with the two masks, that isn't much of a cosplay since the Demon Monkey is this huge hulking figure covered with fur.
Then I remember finding them and staring at the sunset over a bridge, and the waters looked so pretty. It just stretched infinitely. Someone I knew told me to throw the mask because it made me look unsettling while another asked me when I had the time to make such a cosplay, and how much the mask cost. I just shrugged but had a feeling that whenever I was wearing the masks it made me look different to the people who were watching me.
Whatever. It was a sick mask so I kept it. I wish it was real, but I don't get why I've been having dreams lately. I dream on occasion but I don't usually dream this much, and I remember things in my dreams but this is almost annoying. I'm not even planning on cosplaying anyone from Temple Run, I don't understand this.
