Yes. Thank you. There are so many unanswered, impossible-to-answer questions: What does it actually mean to “live like a woman”? I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood my message. I have no idea what you do or don't know when it comes to sexual orientation. I just thought polysexuality was cool and worth researching, maybe not if it's apparently biphobic. I don't know what your definition of bisexuality is, I read the prefix 'bi' (meaning two) and I figure it just meant attraction to two unspecified genders? Please, give me a better definition if that's wrong. I truly am sorry, I wasn't trying to be an asshole.

hey, thanks for the apology. Bisexuality is “the attraction to two or more genders.” That’s the community definition and has been for decades. Ignore the dictionary and wikipedia because neither of them account for real bisexuals’ experiences and identities.

Polysexuality isn’t inherently biphobic at all. Nor is pansexuality. But expecting bisexuals who are attracted to more than two genders to change their identity because of a literal interpretation of Latin prefixes is biphobic. I get told all the time that I’m not really bi because “bi means two!!” that I’m fed up with it, which is why I was so angry at your message. I hope that helps. My FAQ also has a bit more on bisexuality vs. pansexuality, and bi-privilege has a good explanation on bi, poly, and pan definitions over here. (although polysexuality is sometimes “multiple genders” vs. “two or more” like she said)

Okay. So, let's look at the few thousand years of oppression, unacceptance, and hiding of homosexuals. I think, and this is me going out on a limb here, that maybe, just maybe, because both groups have suffered injustice, that it'd be a good comparison.
