Apparently an organization called International Mission Board has allocated massive funds to convert people living in the Indian subcontinent to Christianity and change the demographics entirely. They wanna convert everyone: Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Muslims, Jews, all of us. I'm trying not to let this taint my view of the religion, but damn y'all are pissing me off. I'm sick of white Christians and their stupid superiority complex. We aren't "backward devil worshippers", and most of our faiths have existed much before Christianity. Pls fuck off with your bs mm kay thx

So i googled their website and saw the reports and they are basically calling anyone who isn’t Christian a godless , forsaken wretch in sweet talk in their website. Charming

Things were going as planned until the day we all arrived in India. Two trainers joined me on this trip—one from South Africa and the other from America. The city where the church planting training was to take place had two major problems.First, there was flooding. I was shown a video of the building that was provided for the meeting. The street was like white water rapids. In the video, I saw three people swept away while others on the sidewalks tried to save them. I didn’t see anyone rescued in the video.

Second, after the water receded, the man who was hosting the meeting at his business was confronted in front of the meeting location by an angry mob. The mob stayed in front of the meeting place the entire day, driving away customers and offering sacrifices to insult him and to show their allegiance to one of their thousands of gods. The decision was made to move the meeting to the outskirts of the city.

“Thousands of Gods” “Mob”...I yes we the mindless beasts with irrational allegiance to confusing lists of Gods. Its feel like i am back in British/French India asked to scrub toilet again. 

As it is, literally according the reports, they are violating VISA laws to get inside our country and have allocated a whopping 175 million dollars for their crusade. They are going to use that money to directly bribe or camouflaged it in the name of service to convert poor people especially in villages where laws are not strictly enforced ( bribery and corruption are easier to do in Villages than cities btw , for anyone not in India to know)

Their actual true brethren are being prosecuted in in African continent and some other parts of Asia and they are more interested in increasing their money revenue by conversion? 175 million is pocket change in terms of the kind of money they could extort in the name of donations and charity from their “devotees” once they are done with this. They are just using propaganda and weaponizing savior complex to make money and sending idiot seminary graduates on false VISA papers and purposes for this.  Figures the Missionary emerges from Virginia.

In my opinion Americans can help with this by encouraging conversation ( actual conversation not like scream at someone for being Christian and goes to Church!) about how any Church goes funnels away money to convert people are not good people, instead use it to uplift your own country or protect actual prosecuted Christians and god knows there are money. Don’t exploit another country’s tolerance for weakness to the point in lashing out they just might start to crack down on local and foreign people in order to curb this religious encroachment.

A/N: Welp, here it is! Final installment :(

Thank you for all your kudos and kind words, i had such a fun time writing this story, even if it did get a bit hard through quarantine. If you ever have a chance, I highly recommend taking a listen to the music featured in this fic! I promise it's all good, and most of the recordings are by HIGH SCHOOL KIDS!? I just think that's mind-blowing but im also a huge choir nerd lmao

Anyways, hugest thanks in the word to Adri, who helped TREMENDOUSLY with this story. Seriously, I don't know if it would be what it is without her and her mind.

There’s no rest for the wicked—or apparently, choir directors either.

Kurt takes a day or two to regroup, give the kids time off and some critical feedback on their performance, and then it’s time to start rehearsal for their Spring show.

At the insistence of the choir council (the group of peer voted officers from the choir) the theme is “Throwback”, which to them essentially just means any song written before the 21st century. He asks for their input on song choices, and they insist on doing a rendition of Don’t Stop Believing from some weirdly unrealistic TV show about a show choir.

It grows on Kurt… eventually.
