Stop Industries from Getting a Free Pass to Kill Birds

Tell Congress and the Department of the Interior to uphold America's most important bird protection law, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Audubon Action Alert: 

This year, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), our most important bird protection law is under attack. Legislation in Congress (HR 4239), and a new interpretation of the law by the administration, would end the ability to hold industries accountable for bird deaths.

These proposals would prevent enforcement of “incidental” bird deaths, removing incentives for companies to adopt practices that protect birds from threats such as oil waste pits, and eliminating penalties for companies that kill substantial numbers of birds, including from large oil spills.

Urge your members of Congress and the Department of the Interior to uphold the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

I wrote this kasi I want to let “us” go. kasi una pa lang hanggang huli wala naman talagang “us”.

umpisa pa lang di naman na talaga tayo pwede.

yung umpisa na sana hindi na lang nasimulan kasi ang lungkot bitawan,

yung umpisa na sana hindi pinahintulutan ng panahon, para wala na lang kirot.

ganun siguro talaga, pinagtagpo tayo, pero hindi itinadhana.

ituon na lang natin ang mga sarili natin sa kanila huwag na sa ideya ng “tayo”.

mahalin natin sila.

salamat sa mga ngiti, tawanan at kwento. Naging masaya talaga ko.

kung mabasa mo man ito at pakiramdam mo na kilala mo ko, magpanggap ka na lang na wala kang nabasa. tulad ng lagi nating ginagawa. hanggang sa dulo, taguan lang tayo.
