The Problem With Sigils
When you make a sigil, first you have your statement of intent, such as "I WIN THE LOTTERY" for example. This has never manifested, ever, in any Sigil, the Intent never happens no matter what it is. The resulting Individual Letters form the Skeletal Structure, and when you decode it from right-to-left you are left with a truly random result such as YRETOLHNIW. It is at this point that the first level of creation begins, as your mind begins processing its understanding of language, you find yourself being able to read a statement that roughly sounds like "Why Re-Toll New", which seems like a question of "why must I repay a new expense", more so in this case "why must I repay for a new ticket"? This internal and automatic self-betrayal insures at the most subconscious level, your energy when used in the charging, is programmed with the intent to buy a new ticket, implying you'll lose the lottery. The second level of creation, begins with taking the randomized skeletal structure you made, and forming the bones to make a Sigil out of it. No matter how you configure your Sigil, the human ability of Pareidolia-Apophenia will in every case make you see something in the Sigil that will define it. It's the classic Rorschach Test, and when you go to charge your sigil, you're charging your idea of what that Sigil represents in its visual form. This is crucial to why Intent-Based Sigilism never works absolutely, because First Charging and Second Charging outweighs Primary Intent every time in terms of both Conscious and Subconscious focus.
