Why do the visions tempt

Closing my eyes I wept

For darkened skies

Prophetic dreams slowly devouring reality

He ceaselessly torments me

…in sleep he came

As I slipped away to the dense rain

Far beyond desire

In my mind he is fire

The smallest spark now spurred

Fall of man is now at hand

If my dream becomes reality

Spilling imaginary on waking land

Stricken I see him

And know his secrets

Time will only tell if I can keep it
